Works
Works! Purchased 3 years ago and still functional. I take it down every spring when I transition to a hummingbird feeder.

Stopped those squirrels
This baffle is easy to install and stopped squirrels from climbing the pole to my bird feeders 100% as long as you did not give them another way over it such as overhanging branches, too close to a fence or another tree. HIGHLY recommend once you put it together and attach it to your pole, you tape both side seems as they come apart just enough to trap bird’s feet and when they try to get away, they slide down the crack which is like sliding down a knife cutting off their foot and/or trapping them . Unfortunately a small bird experience that this morning. I managed to get him out of the crack, but had to remove his foot as it was hanging by skin. I pray he survives. DO NOT USE UNLESS YOU TAPE THE SEAMS TOGETHER ON BOTH SIDES

Great for squirrels, decent for raccoons
I have a major squirrel and raccoon problem, to the point where I have to bring in seed every night now. Each birdseed pole has a black domed metal baffle on it. But, the birds poop all over those because they fan out largely around the feeder underneath, and they get really nasty and are hard to scrub. The raccoons also can pull those cone baffles down easily, and they do pull them down every night. This tube baffle has completely cleaned up the bird poop issue, since it hugs the pole so that it doesn't fan out right under the birds--very unexpected and happy consequence of this baffle! It also wonderfully prevents squirrels from getting to the feeders as well. For raccoons, they are strong enough to try to pull down on this baffle, but so far the baffle usually only gets stuck in a semi-open position without coming down from the pole entirely. So that is another huge win for me--so I bought 2 more! Definitely worth it if you have feeders on shepherd's hooks.

Stops all climbers
We had issues with rats and ground squirrels climbing up our feeder station so we thought we'd give this a try. It's been up for more than a year and not one animal has been able to overcome it to get to the feeders. It was a bit of a challenge to get installed, but it's been worth it for us. There are no tree squirrels, chipmunks, or other types of climber here, but this sure works for those we do have. I'd buy it again.

It really works!
I am the worst at assembling and installing anything and most times, I end up losing my patience and having to wait for my hubby to find the time to finish what I started. This was the exception; it couldn't have been easier to attach it to my shepherd's hook from which my 2 bird feeders hang. I followed the directions, which meant moving the shepherd's hook/feeders to a location far enough from our fence that they couldn't jump over to them, bypassing the wrap around stopper AND installing the stopper 4' up from the bottom of the pole so that they can't jump up from ground level. After installing it, as instructed, I made sure it wobbled. The installation took all of 5 minutes and the stopper really works! I absolutely love squirrels but was frustrated that they were eating every bit of the dried mealworms I put out, leaving none for our wild birds. After installing it, I have watched them make several attempts to access the feeders with zero luck; which, by the way is pretty entertaining! For other squirrel lovers like me, don't worry, I am still feeding them, but now I am doing it in a location far from the bird feeding area.

Not sure but doesn’t work as is.
When I received it it wasn’t as described on the video attached. It has bolts to screw the clamp together inot Velcro to wrap around. It comes assembled and unless you reverse the video instructions you’ll be at a loss to disassemble in order to assemble. My pole is a square cast iron pole not rounded and the clamp was way to big to work. I had some insulated tape (the white padding in the clamp on picture one) that i added in order for the clamp to the pole, otherwise the clamp was too big. I haven’t seen any squirrels yet. When I ordered this I had 4 squirrels climbing it. While waiting for it I put some avocado oil on the pole which worked great they kept sliding off the pole (without getting hurt) it was kind of cute. Our dogs kept licking it off so it isn’t a long term solution. I’ll update my review if it keeps the squirrels out of the bird feed but max stars can only reach 4 as I had to add to it in order to use it.

Pretty good so far but time will tell. Needs to be able to fit thinner poles.
I bought Ashman 91 Inch Adjustable Shepherds Hook item: B082YGX3V2 as it was the cheapest but tallest hook I could find (surprisingly sturdy and good quality). I then purchased this stopper/ baffle to keep the tree rats off. When I went to install it, I found that the thickness of the hook was smaller than 1/2 which is the minimum size for this baffle clamp. So the clamp just slid right down even though it was tightened all the way.I remedied this by just placing another piece of 1/8 in thick hard rubber I had on top of the existing rubber gasket in side of the clamp, so now when I tightened it down, it stayed put. Seems very silly to not include different sized rubber/ rubber attachments that can be added to accommodate a wider range of pole thickness.Other thing I can potentially see an issue is the squirrel climbing up inside of the baffle and chewing on the clamp; looks like this already happened to others. Could make the metal piece close fully with various metal punch outs depending on the diameter of the pole. This way the squirrel couldn't get past the base of it.Besides those two things, seems to be good quality. I have mine over 5 feet high so time will tell if truly effective .Edit: So far so good. Watched a squirrel try to figure it out for over 45 minutes. Up the pole, down the pole multiple times. Up a tree to see if he could make the long jump, back down the tree and up the pole again...finally gave up and ran away.
