I guess it's great as sand goes! It's lovely white sand and it's pricey. Not sure why.

I put it in my incense burner. The "sand" is shiny and black and kind of poisonous looking so I don't know if you want to put it around anything alive-is it real, natural sand? Either way, incense sticks stand up in it and you can put them out in it.
