They do make a difference.
Installed these on an e92 328i with previous mods being a K&N high flow filter, charcoal filter delete, and silicone intake boot and there was a noticeable difference once the computer got used to the new air delivery from the intake scoops. Is it a crazy difference? No. But, the car is more confident and lively. It can actually accelerate from 1300 rpms up a hill whereas before it would fall flat on its face, warranting me to clutch in and downshift a gear.They’re expensive compared to other products, but they are better designed. They curve under the top side of the radiator housing behind the front bumper, minimizing any blockage of air getting to the radiator.I’ve had no issue with rain be it from driving in rain or spraying the grill when detailing the car.Definitely recommend them.

Great product
Fast and easy install. I had to do some trimming to get everything to fit properly and I do recommend getting some nuts and bolts to have a secure install. Performance wise I did feel the difference when moving. There’s less lag.

Not sure it does much for power but probably gets a bit more cold air under the hood, not bad to install but had to do some tweeking and bending of the metal to put them in my 07 335i sedan, using bms dci as well.

AFE Scoops for BMW 335i
I have installed the scoops to my BMW 335I E90 (N55 engine, 2011 model)and all fitted just perfectly.The performance difference is good & my BM feels like it just cant get enough, especially on high speeds!! :-)It also looks great and I am very happy with this product! :-)

Works well helps with the air flow to stock air intake I gain about 5 horsepower at an instant then when i get to about 35 miles per hour is the the real increase I get about 7-12 horsepower some torque as well about 7 instant 12-15 at speeds of 35 or more also what might help is buying NOS fuel octane booster to give your feul injectors a good clean will also help performance very happy!

could be better
afe 54 11478 dynamic air scoop passenger side does not line up perfectly. i have to stretch the scoop to make it fit. to my bmw 335ixdrive

Here’s The Scoop
Along with the charcoal filter air box removal mod these do make a difference.Better throttle response off of idle, and more power at 40MPH plus. It’s not louder, which I prefer as a daily, but they do work as advertised.The instructions say it’s easier with 2 people, but it wasn’t hard at all to do alone in my garage in under an hour.Glad I spent the time and money on the mod.Update - my MPG has slightly increased by about 1-1.5 MPG.
