Will not work with an ESP8266
These seem to work fine when connected to an Arduino UNO, however, I purchased them hoping to use with an ESP8266 and it seems that there is just too much noise for anything to really be picked up, you had to be basically inside the microphone. I was powering this from a 5v supply (with a common ground to the ESP8266) to ensure it was getting the correct power. I tested by connecting to an Arduino Uno and they seemed to work fine, not the best out there, but did what they were supposed to.

Quality product, excellent customer support
Original order was missing 2 modules but seller was super understanding of the quantity mix up (they also sell individually so it was a simple error). They were very friendly and quick to send me the missing ones. All work great! Highly recommend.

Every single one fails to work, very bad quality
Every single one fails to work, very bad quality. The variable resistor (pot) seems to do nothing for the one I got. None of them work right. Oh, and be careful, it you connect these to 5v source, the signal pin outputs 5v !!! NOT GOOD for Raspberry Pi. Pi can;t handle anything on a GPIO input above 3.3v. DON;T use 5v source unless you reduce the input signal voltage! Else you WILL damage your Raspberry Pi.
