Would not turn on!!!
so excited to get this computer. I pulled it out of the box got it all set up. Plugged in the cord and looked at the instructions to make sure there wasn't any start up procedures. All it said was to push the power button. So I pushed the power button and it started to start up. I could here the fans kick in and then it shutdown?!?!?! So I waited and it started up again and then shut down. The screen never came on or anything. So I unplugged it and held the power button down for 30 seconds. Apparently that lets any stored energy out of the computer. That didn't work. So I did a little more research. After reading some reviews and doing some research I found that some things can get wiggled loose during shipping. So I took it upon myself to disect the computer. HAHA! Against my better judgment I did not look to see if this would void my warranty. So I very carefully took the plastic covering off the back. After that was removed there was a flat metal piece that had a few screws in it protecting the key componenets for the computer. Once that was removed I noticed that the RAM chip wasn't fully locked into its happy spot. I moved it back into its proper location put the computer back together and pushed the power button. To my amazement the computer started right up like it was supposed to!! So Happy!! Would have givin 5 stars but had to disect computer to make it work once received so only 4 stars!! =)

Save $'s With Refurbished
Initially I enjoyed the reduced price of this refurbished All-In-One Dell, but there are some drawbacks. After brief usage I began to get system errors. Due to the unit being still covered under Dells Technical Support Warranty, I reached out to them in effort to resolve the system error. After several resolution attempts, they were unable to correct the issue. I requested a replacement unit from Dell. Unfortunately Dell will not provide a system replacement on a refurbished unit unless the previous owner transfers the original warranty to you. I was unable to get the previous owner to do this after contacting them and explaining the system flaw. I did have an option to invoke Amazon's Satisfaction Warranty, however I elected to try Dell's Support recommendation of performing a OS Re-Installation first. This worked like a charm and the system is just fine. Dell's Support Staff was second to none. There were excellent to work with throughout this process and were kind enough to extend my technical support service for a substantial amount of time. Bottom line, I would purchased a Dell refurbished unit again knowing the support they provide, AND also having as a back up Amazons Satisfaction Guarantee. All in all it was a good purchase.

SOLD ME A $1,000.00 BROKEN COMPUTER
BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY. NOT UNDERSTANDING AND SOLD ME A BROKEN COMPUTER THAT THEY SAID WAS NEW.I purchased this in good faith from Hot Tech Geek as I thought I could trust them because I trust Amazon. When the computer arrived, everything looked fine. It was packaged great as if I purchased it from a retail store. I set the computer up and began to try and use it. From the day I turned it on, it ran horrifically slow. I thought it was a wifi issue, but realized it wasn't as my other work computer ran perfect on the same wifi. It remained incredible slow and would pause even when navigating through desktop programs and trying to open simple files like WORD, or even trying to open up a picture I saved on my computer. I even purchased a AVG Virus Protection Software and ran that to try and clean up any bugs it may have had (but why would I have to run a virus software on a brand new computer?) Computer started even lagging just to turn on. Please keep in mind that this was only days after I plugged it in and turned it on. They straight up sold me a broken computer for $1,000.00. After I tried to see if the computer would get better, and it didn't, I requested a refund. They said that they could not accept a return, but could offer a repair. Why would I want to repair a BRAND NEW COMPUTER??? I don't trust this company. This makes me not want to purchase anymore amazon products becuase I cannot trust the people they let sell their products on their website. This is my worst experience ever. I've only had 1-2 issues in the past and amazon returned the item with no questions asked. This company is completely fine with knowing they sold me a broken computer but leaning on their 30 day policy so that they can keep the sale. I was robbed.

the fastes computer I've ever used
This Dell all-in-one arrived on schedule. The voice-based direction made set up easy and painless. In the past I've used 8GB Dells; but this being 12 GB blew the others away by comparison. Instantaneous response! The one thing I miss is there are no USB ports on the side of the screen as in the other all-in-ones I've had--three others. The only USBs are in the back which makes access to them quite inconvenient. Using a short extension cable has been the solution. Still gave it a 5 star though.

Good AIO Desktop Computer overall. Headphones plug does not work.
I purchased this computer 3 months ago, it has been running well, I am happy with it. My wife and I used it for basic stuff (e.g., browsing, lightweight games, etc.), and occasionally I use it to run a few virtual machines simultaneously. Unfortunately, the headphone's plug does not work. This means I cannot plug my headphones unless I buy a USB sound adapter.

Outstanding speakers
I purchased my first computer 35 years ago and have had many more since. I have had this computer for two weeks and it is superb. I especially like the speakers, they are better than any of my other computers and have excellent volume. The price was also very good, if I purchased one in California it would have cost significantly more. Getting rid of the old computer tower and its associated cables is a big plus.

Nice computer and monitor
Nice thing about the all in one set up. If I have to travel, it's just the monitor, keyboard and mouse. The screen is beautiful. I rarely use the touch screen and camera, unless I'm skyping for work. The wireless keyboard and mouse that came with it is very nice, soft and quiet.
