A great tool to use
As a naturalist I do a lot of citizen science projects and I love this product for it really is nice to have for all types of photography. I do a lot of black lighting for insects and I had spent years using just a headlamp or a flashlight. This is nice for if you have an insect on your sheet when black lighting you can surround it in light and then using your correct F-stop and light metering skills then you will get mind blowing results. A great product and one of the things I never leave home without when I am on trips and things. I do a lot of travel and sometimes do lots of night hikes and thing with kids groups and sometimes I also am also a budding nature photographer so this is one thing you can't be without. I love the way you can adjust the brightness, the batteries will drain fast but that is to be expected for how much I use it but carrying back-up batteries is never an issue. I also like the way it snaps on and love the way it looks and feels. Makes the camera just a bit heavy but still light weight. Works best with my 55mm lens but can be used for other lenses. I love how it fits nicely on the hot-shoe and love how it handles. Just a great product for many other uses too. Photography is diverse and I have used it a bit in my studio classes in Junior college the past year so this is great for a wide range of hobbies and jobs.

Ideal for macro photography and small items you sell on ebay.
I have wanted a ring flash for 40 years. It is just the thing for certain types of macro photography. Back in the day, I just couldn't justify the cost for my occasional use. They used to be very expensive. Now days with led and china cheap you can get a reasonably good one for a reasonable price. I think it would be a little underpowered for portrait work, and I bought the more powerful version. But it is excellent for the kind of macro closeup work that I need it for and the price is right. Seems well made and I don't find it flimsy as some have stated. What do you expect for the price. If you want rugged go out and pay the several hundred that the camera manufacturers charge for theirs. With reasonable care this unit should last a long time. Ideal for my needs.

Totalmente recomendable.

Won't Flash with Nikon D500...
But still works as a light. So, I gave it a four. Not a bad light otherwise. May work as a flash at a distance. very bright, so not under powered. Just getting the hang of it. Perfect for macro work. which is why I bought it in the first place. So, I guess I'm pleased. Seems well constructed. Time will tell. I tend to go easy on all my photo equipment so it should last a while. Love the filter collection.

Great quality for the price
Are used to have more expensive version of this flashlight to use for product shots. However because I haven’t used it much I sold it because it was just losing it value laying there. Since I got another project for product shot I was looking for a cheaper version of the similar flash. Purchase this product on a whim and did not expect much of it, but pleasantly surprised. Flash works perfectly and syncs in easily. I do enjoy cool in the warm filter that included with it. Adjustment rings make it easy to use with any lens that I have. Definitely recommended it for inexpensive option for ring flash

Fragile, and unreliable
This item no longer works after 10 months.I was getting substandard performance when I went to an event a few weeks ago-- it was a sunny day and I thought the flash would be good for filling in the shadows. After reviewing the photos, I found that the flash failed to perform. I thought then that maybe some new batteries would fix the problem.I decided to use the ring flash in "Light" mode for a Zoom performance I was taking part in ( so my face could be, you know, visible". After installing the batteries and switching on the light it light went dim within three minutes. I thought it was a poor connection, so I tried using a bent paper clip to stretch the springs a little and make the connection more reliable. No dice.I thought that the price of the unit and the ways I could the flash would make this purchase a good deal. Instead, I learned that you get what you pay for.

Value for money attachment ring light
I just started photography so not looking to spend a whole bunch on extra attachments specially since I upgraded my lenses. This ring light was perfect for the price and really does enhance my photography. It took me awhile to find the right fit for my camera but it comes with many different sizes that one did eventually fit. I have a Nikon DX3500. The light itself is lose around the lense and is my only complaint otherwise it works great and the buttons give a variety of light preferences that are simple to use. The weight seems appropriate and not too heavy.
