I spend a lot of time listening to music on my pc and wanted a volume control to make it easier than just using the keyboard or mouse to control the volume. This product works very well. Just plug and play. Using this, you can control the volume very finely and just press to pause play. The unit feels solidly made. Certainly a simple bit of kit just to make life a bit easier!

I usually buy keyboards with a media dial on them, but they're expensive and you don't get that much choice. This device is brilliant, you get a really nicely made big dial for quick and easy volume control. Good price, great quality, just works. No drivers, just plug and play. Good stuff and imho, essential kit.

Very nice unit, well built, nice long cable. No need for drivers, installs itself in Windows.MInor gripes.It's a little light so doesn't stay put, when you want to turn it you have to put a finger on the base to stop the whole thing turning. Needs stickier feet. Or the entire base to be rubbery.It takes a LOT of turn to effect a significant change in volume. You quickly get used to this, but it'd be nice if it were possible to adjust the rate of change.

Well made product, that does exactly what it's supposed to do. Excellent value for money.

For 20 pounds, the unboxing experience is excellent for how niche the product is. A great beaded cable, made of metal and even comes with a micro fibre bag.Sadly there are a few things that are really annoying that ruin the product. Firstly is the big blue light. Why is it there? It doesn’t change. Other than when you use the knob it pulsates. I wish you could turn it off because I’m going to end up covering it up with a sticker. The actual use of it is extremely hit or miss. The volume control is fine, but to change tracks you have to press the button down, turn, wait, and release so it doesn’t mute the volume entirely. I wish you could change or remove the mute button. Since you can just twist the knob all the way to the left. I bought this since my new keyboard has no multimedia keys, and sadly using this has made me sacrifice some of my keyboards functions to add the buttons back in and rarely use the knob

Ace - nice feel to it. I was hoping to find a Bluetooth version but this is pretty much perfect.

Use it all the time, works out of the box on windows and Linux OS.
