Better than Other Sub-$1000 Integrated Amps
This $500 amp has more drive and oomph than my Audiolab 6000A. It's very close to the Audiolab when it comes to clarity and detail. The Audiolab 6000A is on the cold side of neutral and this amp is on the warmer side of neutral. However, unlike the 6000A which has an excellent phono preamp, this amp comes with a pretty bad phono preamp. You will need an external phono preamp. I use it with a Cambridge Audio Alva Duo and an Ortofon Black. This combo sounds as good as my Yamaha AS1200 thru my KEF R3 speakers, and a little better than the Audiolab due to being punchier and more dynamic. If I didn't know better I would have guessed 80 wpc - this is a very ballsy 50 watts. The amp is solid, having the feel of a much more expensive amp. The digital lighting/display is easy to see from across the room and remote control is backlit and of very good quality. I can't imagine anyone not being happy with this amp, unless they don't want to shell out for a phono preamp. I can't speak to the digital aspects of this amp because I only listen to vinyl.Update: I tried using this with my Fosi Box X2 Tube Phono Preamp (with upgraded GE tubes) and it blew my mind. Perfect synergy.

Don't hesitate on this great sounding amp ! It's a steal.
I am using this is in a secondary system and didn't want to pay more than $700-800. I was considering a Rega IO as I like the Rega Brio in my primary system. The many positive professional and consumer reviews brought this ARCAM amp to my attention and I wanted to try something different from the Rega. At $549.00 the decision was easier for sure. The SA-10 is paired with Monitor Audio Silver Rx's 2's and Transparent Speaker cable. It produces relaxed, easy to listen to detailed sound. It sounds like a more expensive amp. I'm really impressed with the sound quality and feel. I use for vinyl and streaming. The DAC is high quality and the ARCAM guts are good. Transformer is heavy and you can feel right where it is when you pick it up. For a two channel entry level system it's a no brainer and will exceed you expectations.Cons: The front buttons are a little cheap feeling and hard to read as they are not lit up. It's a bit bigger than some of its competitors. Comes with huge confusing manual, don't bother reading, the wiring instructions don't make sense. Just hook it up.Bonus: Has a nice feature to wake up the amp by twisting the volume knob when it goes into to standby mode.

Very Good
Very easy set up. No bass or treble control. Will need to add equalizer etc for that. Great integrated amp. Will connect to wire and plug in speakers. Super easy to figure out without instructions. When I opened box there is an off putting 200 page set up instruction book........ you can ignore this. 4 stars as this is great but could be little better and is about $100 too much. For money not bad. Better than pioneer amp.

very poor quality and sound
Been using All kind of AVR and Amps from 1990 , bought two ARCAM Amps one as a gifrt for my daughter birthday , only one channel was working and the other works for few mins and stops , what a bad gift for a birthday , now need to return both of them , and back to my trusted Yamaha

Good bang for the buck
Well packaged and shipped promptly. I live in a small space, sounds are crisp and distinct, and slightly bass heavy. Enough power to drive my Polk 4 ohm speakers. Great bang for the buck

Nice little integrated amp.
Nice little integrated amplifier for the money. You must use a little patience to let it break in. Looks great sounds great.

Great amp for any amount of money.
If you want an amplifier without any color of its own, This amplifier is worth every penny! Especially if you listen to classical music, a cello actually sounds like a cello! A human voice is reproduced very nicely; You’re hearing closer to what the engineers hear In the studio- Certainly closer then you would hear on a less expensive amp, which I’ve had. I made the decision to buy the best possible product I can, when other equipment starts to break down. I’m very happy with this purchase, and hope to have it for the next 20 years

Amazing
Redoing my 2-channel system from the ground up. Recently purchased the Klipsch RP600Mii (replaced Boston A60) and now the Arcam SA10 to replace a vintage Yamaha receiver. I play entirely FLAC files from my PC connected to the amp with an optical link. The sound is impressive, balanced, detailed and full. Jazz at the Pawnshop, Sinatra at the Sands, Steely Dan's Gaucho, Ella Fitzgerald's American Songbook all revealed tiny details I'd never heard before. My extensive collection is exciting to listen to once again and sounds so natural and alive. The SA10 is solid and heavy for its size, likely due to the large donut magnet and copper windings of its toroidal transformer. A terrific deal at the current sale price, I'm very pleased with my purchase.
