Reliable, clear picture and greatly enhanced viewing
I bought this for our new, gigantic fifth wheel and installed it literally the first moment I pulled it into our driveway. Due to the length of the trailer, I got the signal booster which delivers a reliable picture from the back camera. The trailer was prewired for a Furrion camera so the included adapter made that easy enough. The side cameras were quick and simple to install. Getting everything paired was a bit of a pain as the menu interface isn't particularly intuitive, but it is doable. The screen is very good and the picture updates pretty smoothly while driving; I have a very good sense of where other vehicles are around the trailer, which makes changing lanes far less challenging. It's hugely helpful with backing up and making sure I'm going to clear obstacles. Not a solution to everything, but still a big bonus. The screen comes with sort of unhelpful mounting options. I'm using a Tackform rail for attaching accessories to the top of my dash. They make a 20mm ball head "cali raised-compatible" mount that will fit into the slot on the back of the monitor with a little fiddling. FAR cleaner and more stable mount if you're using an AMPS/ball head setup. Only two complaints about the system in the end, one minor and one a bit less minor: The monitor makes a high pitched whine when powered on. Not a huge deal and you rarely notice it while driving. What I do notice, however, is the incessant, obnoxious rattling of the monitor antenna which cannot seem to be fixed by tightening or reorienting it.

Good camera
Installed this on a 37' Travel Trailer. Installation was easy and the 3M tape is holding well. I cleaned each area with rubbing alcohol before attaching the 3M tape. Instructions weren't great, particularly on how to use the adapter plate to attach to the plastic Furrion "shark fin" that came on the trailer. Picture quality is excellent and at 70 mph I have full signal.I like having the parking lines on the camera, but wish that you could move them closer together. You can adjust the lines (both at the same time) to the left or right and up and down, but they are spread wider than my rig. There are hash marks that come in (towards the middle of screen) from the parking lines, and I have found that one lane of traffic is the distance between the inside of the hash marks.I use this mostly to make sure the rear of the trailer has cleared items when I am pulling out of a site or navigating turns. It is also helpful for changing lanes. I find I use it less for backing up than I thought I would, I still do better when using mirrors and over my shoulder. However it is still a very useful item to have.

Monitor is in upgrade mode-Updated
The system worked on our first trip and now I have an upgrade screen on the monitor. Correspondence with company is clunky and frustrating. It's like they don't want to offer solutions. Short emails asking a single question, wait a day or two and get a response. Makes you crazy.I HAVE to say Haloview made good on their product and sent me a new monitor. Trip to Florida was fine and new monitor works great.

Great for long trailers....
This is the second Haloview product I have owned. The first gave me a little trouble on my 34' travel trailer, reception was not good. The second is going on my 43 food 5th wheel, so I purchased the version with the extender. Basically that is a wire that runs along the top of the RV to an antenna that goes in the front. It was pretty easy to install. My trailer is a 2020 Jayco that had a Furion mount built in. The camera kit cam with an adapter that worked well to fit the Haloview camera into the bracket. Wiring was easy. Screen is bright and clear, and reception is good. Plenty of parts are included for installation. I also purchased the two side cameras. Again, pretty easy to install. The only issue I have had is that the front side marker lights blink when you use the turn signal. I was not aware of that, I expected those lights to be on all the time. Because they are not if I turn on my turn signal the power to the side cameras is interrupted and I loose the picture. It is worth noting that the marker lights have to be on for the back camera to work, at least on my trailer. All and all a lot cheaper than the Furion and works well.

Better than Furrion alternative
UpdateOne camera failed within first year. The monitor failed (stopped powering on) after ~18 months daily use. The entire kit feels an expensive paperweight today.>> originalThere's about a one second delay, but a very long range and consistent connection. Furrion had a similar delay, was inconsistent, and only able to install the rear camera as described below. The Haloview marker lights have separate ground wires for the cameras, so these can operate on either the same or a separate circuit. A 2013 ORV is using a low power led trailer lighting system that can't power a camera, rendering the Furrion system inoperable. Any system on this trailer would need a separate power circuit to each camera, but Furrion can only be wired through the lighting system.Haloview uses leds, Furrion uses incandescent. In fact, all components of the Haloview kit seem to use better build/materials,and is more compact than its furrion counterpart.Vast mounting options with simple 3m automotive tape. The Furrion cameras by comparison are far too bulky and would need a stronger bond adhesive or mounting screws.Custom install: Using 5 camera's, but the system will only pick up four without re-pairing. When not connected to the trailer, it's a front/rear dashcam with an always on option for truck surveillance. With small modification to the mounting base, a fifth camera is neatly 3m taped to the box top, and a front camera is neatly tucked under a grill slat (part of the towing four, always paired)A complete haloview system is ~20% less than furrion. It's almost a no-brainer.
