Convenient for gym
I like the case for my I Pod touch. This is my second one. First lasted two years. Latch broke recently. I use at the gym about 3 times per week. Admittedly may be my fault latch broke; perhaps bent it back too far and over time, stuff happens. Cases with a belt clip can be hard to find and this one does the job.

Nice functionality but very fragile
I bought this case for my iPod Touch 6G. It is one of the only cases with a built-in belt clip for the Touch. Touch users cannot use cases built for the same generation iPhone, because even though their dimensions are otherwise equal, for some reason Apple decided to make the iPod a couple of millimeters thinner than the iPhone. The case itself has a good feel and look -- it is a rubberized black plastic with texture so that it will not slip out of your hand. I don't think it is advertised as such but I think it must be at least water-resistant if not waterproof. The case comes in two halves, and it does take some strength and a very fine knife or other object to split them apart. Once the iPod is in there, it will stay there forever unless you perform the reverse surgery. The case has flexible covers for the headphone and Lightning ports, so it's great to use even in the rain, if you listen wirelessly. The belt clip is why I chose this case, and it is great while it manages to stay attached to itself. The clip strength is very strong -- it will never fall off on its own, and it has a nice feature of being rotatable in 10 or 12 clicks all the way around, so you can wear your iPod in the most convenient and functional orientation. The problem with this product is that the clip itself is very fragile. I am now on my fifth case in as many years. The actual clipper piece shears off of its backing piece very easily. Twice, this happened when I was getting into my car and twisted my body to get seated and attach the seal belt. Two other times it happened when I was just trying to unclip the case from my belt.I do recommend the case overall, because it seems to be the best available clip-case for the iPod, but he very careful in how you handle the snap-on clip backer. Note that if you carry your iPod in a pocket or in a purse or handbag, you don't need to attach the belt clip part -- it is totally separate from the main case and you attach it or remove it in a second. If not for the weakness in the clip, I would give this case 5 stars, because the rest of it is very good. I just don't think that you should have to purchase the same product over and over due to a simple design flaw. But I have bought it five times now, so you make up your own mind.

All about assembly
It took me some trial and error to get my ipod into the case. First, the facing. I was initially afraid that trying to force my shiny new ipod past the curved edges of the facing would scratch the ipod. Originally, I tried to get the ipod into the facing by inserting one of the long sides first, but it was too hard. I finally managed to get the ipod into the facing of the case by inserting the top edge of the ipod in first. When you look at the facing of the case, one of the long sides has a gap for the volume buttons, leaving a shorter side tab towards the top of the ipod. I think that is what made it easier to get the ipod in when angling it into the top edge one corner at a time. After that, it snapped right in.It snapped in so solidly and so fast that I thought it would be hard to get the ipod out again; but it does come out easily from the facing by holding the top and bottom edges of the facing and giving it a twist.Second, the backing. Placing the backing was easy. The only problem I had was that by inserting the bottom edge first, the power button on the casing wasn't matching up with the power button on the ipod. So I took the ipod back out and put the top edge in first and then the buttons were aligned correctly.I like the clear covering in the facing because it protects the touchscreen of the ipod but doesn't hinder its use in any way. I can't say how durable the case is, because I'm not going to drop my ipod to test that out! But I've had cell phone cases of similar design (the reason why I chose this case) that I have dropped onto concrete several times and my cell phone survived unscathed. I cut off the little rubber stops along the bottom edge because I don't like dealing with them every time I charged the ipod or used headphones, but I do like how well the rubber stops fit.So after getting over the initial hurdle of getting the case assembled, I do like this case very much. I think it is well designed and is very secure.

Worth buying
This is a very reliable protective cover and case, to be rough with the clips, can snap.

Fitting instructions
Arrives fully assembled so you need to disassemble it to fit your ipod touch. There are no instructions on how to do this either in the box or on the i- blaison website, so here we go with how to do it.First remove the part that clips onto your belt by pulling on the locking catch with your thumb. You can then the easily remove this part revealing the main body of the case. Next hold the main body of the case in your left hand (if you are right handed) with the screen facing you. Then with your right thumb pull down on the bottom right hand corner of the case which is rubberised until you can get your left thumb nail in the small gap you have made and pull the screen surround out.Remove the protective film on the screen protector which is fixed to the screen surround and refit the two pieces together. This is a bit fiddly and you will need to use your thumbs to ease the rubberised edges of the rear part and push the screen surround back in.You may not want to use the front part with the belt clip as this prevents access to the screen.Once assemble you will what a cracking piece of kit this is. It has a nice industrial look to it and feels really tough, so it should last as long as you want. A bit on the expensive side but your ipod touch is a lot on the expensive side and looks like it needs this type of protection.

It's Much Better Than I Expected
I bought this for my son's iPod. For the price I paid, I wasn't expecting very much, so was really pleased when it arrived. It comes in different parts which, when all assembled together, completely encase the device (including the screen). The case is hard plastic with hard rubber trim and so I would be very surprised if the shell of the iPod sustained any damage at all with this on. The front screen cover is thin plastic which sits directly on the screen so the touch controls work exactly as they should, however whilst this may protect the screen from scratches, it may not protect the screen from smashing or cracking in the way that a glass protector would. The volume up/down buttons and on/off/sleep button are encased but work completely well. There are cut outs for the front and back camera lenses and for the speaker. There are little lidded openings at the bottom for inserting the charger and ear phones. The only thing that we cannot do whilst the case is on, is use a docking station. This is because the plastic casing around the connection point is just too deep to allow a connection. The case is a little tricky to get on as the fit is very tight, so you have to be extremely careful not to damage the device when fitting it. Overall this is an excellent quality and value for money product. I would buy again.

Robust and great value
Bought this case for my 4 year old daughter who recently got an iPod.I normally wait a month to write a review to see how good the product is.Excellent protection,iPod has been dropped many times without any damage plus the price is so reasonable.Screen cover on the case is sensitive enough for touch without any delay or having to press hard.I have no hesitation in saying this is a robust case with no issues at all.

Great for the price you pay !
I’m not sure what the bad reviews I see are about, this case is pretty good considering its price, the black model comes with a belt clip which I think is pretty neat and the iPod screen if protected from scratches which is a must have, so for decent protection and for normal Usage I’d say it’s great
