2022 Android 10.0 Single Din Car Stereo, Eonon Quad Core Car Radio with IPS Display/GPS, Compatible with BMW 3 Series 1999-2004(E46), Built-in Apple CarPlay, Support Android Auto-9 Inch-GA9450B

This is an updated stereo for me. I had the previous version with all same everything except for the updated OS and the inclusion of CarPlay. I had a couple of bugs at first, they sent me the new software and everything has been great. I knew I would use the CarPlay feature, but I had no idea that I wouldn't bother with any other app, other than Poweramp, on this stereo. CarPlay has worked flawless for me, after I purchased a proper cable for both charging and data transfer. Because the car stereo, while on CarPlay, its basically using your iPhone as the stereo, it is very quick and responsive. Not that the stereo isn't fast on it's own accord, but CarPlay on an iPhone XR is just like using the phone. On my previous unit I used Sygic for GPS and do have it installed on this unit, but who needs it. Google Maps, Apple Maps, Waze, etc are all on CarPlay, navigate faster and update more often. Previously using Sygic I would constantly miss my turn and when I did it took what seemed forever in a strange place to get its bearings and get you back to where you want to be. You essentially bypass the car stereo processing and speed and are using only your phone with the stereo as an extended screen. The sound is great with the new equalizer and Poweramp takes from that and makes some stellar sound. Keep in mind I replaced all the factory speakers on the Harmon Kardon system to speakers that matched the size, impedance and wattage to match up with the factory amp and replaced the stock sub with a single RF powered 12. So, I can't speak to stock speakers with this unit. But if you're reading this, it's probably time to replace those cheap paper cone speakers anyway. The updated UI is okay and makes the car look a lot newer than it is. E46 owners already know most people can't tell an e46 from an e90.

It is perfect, I am delighted with this radio, easy to install and it really is amazing, the CarPlay works well, I had a little problem, and I contacted them and they responded in no time and they helped me, my problem was forgetting to connect the atn cable , nothing complicated, I do not regret my purchase.

Looks better than OEM. Good price. Had to get a replacement because Carplay did not work. Other than that I am satisfied. Was also able to put the BMW logo as the boot up display. 8/10.

super easy to install. i highly recommend this radio for anyone with an E39 / E46 !! it looks super sharp and very easy to navigate the apps etc... set up is a breeze!

My head unit is not functioning as it should it worked fine for about a week but suddenly the apple car play function stoped working along with Bluetooth and radio everything is installed as it should be and nothing was tampered with sliced or modified in any way so my only reasoning for the problem is a faulty product also straight out of the box there was discolored pixels in the top right side of the screen as if it had bin drop or gotten wet plz get back to me the product worked grate for the most part if there’s any way u can replace the head unit that would be grate I would not want to leave a bad review I just want what I payed for to last thank you

The unit looks amazing. It sounds good with 50w speakers. I'm using it without amp. The performance lack on speed. Using maps you will see a recalculation reaction of 2 minutes. On road that is a life. Trying to solve this, I purchased the eonon android car adapter. This is another nightmare story. After a long fight. The android car play works but the resolution is very bad. The maps looks like minecraft and the music app sometimes stops. At this time you need to restart the unit.

Installation was relatively simple on my 1999 BMW 328i. There is a little bit of cutting involved which took me about 5 minutes on a Dremel. Instructions are very clear with a lot of illustration. Fit and finish is well.The system itself is responsive. Touchscreen works pretty well. While I did install GPS and Wifi antenna, I mainly will be focused on using Apple Carplay. Carplay works really well, plug in the cable, it starts right up. It just works. I am not really an Android guy, so I didn't explore too much on the operating system side. I didn't even setup Wifi or log on to my Google Account. The build in Google Map is a little slow and it takes a few clicks to get into the car navigation mode, offline maps needs to be downloaded and kept updated (or else it will expire). Therefore I didn't really bother with it.Sound quality is better than the original Business CD unit it was replaced. A tiny bit of static in the background but I can live with it. Playing through the built in apps works great. Works well with my FLAC file.System starts up takes about 30 seconds. However, reverse camera is enabled as soon as its powered on. There is no need to wait for the start up. Also, there is an option to keep the system in sleep mode for up to 60minutes. Waking from sleep takes 1 second. Which means, for a quick stop over, you will not need to wait for it to start up.Customer service was good. I sent in my questions Sunday night, I received my response when I wake up Monday. They answered all my questions with clear instructions and video how-tos.Overall, worth my installation time and the cost. I would recommend this to any E46 owners to modernize our cars.

Lags a bit on startup and is tricky to sit flush when putting it back together but looks 10x better then the OEM CD player and steering wheel still works

The package came in one day which was super fast! Took me roughly 3 hours to install it.The installation was not that hard you can just simply follow through the manual (The manual is relatively easy every step comes with an illustration just like IKEA manuals do! ). Just the wiring parts are a bit confusing but you will figure them out eventually.You need to trim some rubber pieces for fitting the screen to the center console ( I didn't trim it cuz I didn't have any tools for trimming but the outcome was quite still good).The resolution is not as good as I expected, but it is still fantastic! Fast touching responses, it basically an android device with built-in Apple Carplay.The seller is nice and very responsible too!Overall I definitely recommend it! The price is also worth paying!

I've been using this from spring to fall now (over 6 months) What I can say is that at first, the unit was in general quite okay (speed of operation, touchescreen responseness, etc..) but over the time, I found that that the unit was becoming more and more slow and buggy. The map application crashed on me couple of time while on trips and would take forever to load. Spotify always bug and Waze does not work at all. What I really don't like now, is that the system will freeze entirely at random times (the screen become black, music continue to play and all controls are not responsive at all from the steering wheel and the screen itself). The only way out of this is to use a pin or a tip of a needle and press the RESET button at the front of the unit while driving. Very annoying. And this can happen several times during a longer roadtrip. I can confirm that I've done the firmware upgrades. I guess the next step is to do a full factory reset.... Anyway, if you ask me, does it worth it? I would say yes and no depending how patient you are with buggy things. It is true that this is a big improvement over the stock radio (brings a 20 years old car to the 2021 tech). It is also true that the audio quality improved a lot compared to the stock radio. Overall, you get what you pay for and the price is cheap compare to paying a reputable brand of decks.

We installed this on my 2005 E46 and it is a perfect fit. The display is beautiful and responsive and the interface is really modern. The way it fits perfectly into the dashboard is incredible.Installation was relatively easy. Hardest part was the main harness clip was difficult as one of the pins kept slipping out when we tried to close it. Other than that, it was pretty straight forward. There are countless YouTube videos of installations which were very helpful.The customer support was also really pleasant and they really did deliver on those free products mentioned in the promotion! I am recommending this product to all fellow E46 owners looking for an entertainment upgrade.
