Glad I decided to buy this
I wasn't sure after reading some reviews about it feeling cheap. Yes, it's made of plastic but for the price that's what I would have expected. It's holding together even after some serious battles in space.I needed a replacement for an old joystick I used on my VIC-20. This has the generic Atari pin outs and worked as soon as I plugged it in.I also expected to only have up, down, left, and right but I found it also provided the signals for the corners like up-left, down--right etc.

Very nice, stable controls
While I use an Atari 7800 Prosystem, it is backwards compatible with all of the 2600 games, and when I play those games I prefer to utilize the 2600-style joystick (unless I am playing something like Breakout or Kaboom, then I switch to the paddle controllers).
