Small figures for a grandson's school project, a diarama
Purchased these little Arctic figures for Grandson to use in a diorama project. The igloo was quite small for the size of the native figure of a man/hunter and the snow rabbit was a "monster movie" giant compared to the other figures! That being said there were quite enough animals which fit the proportions of the project nicely. The details and were quite good on ALL pieces. The fact that there was both a beluga whale AND a killer whale gave my grandson a chance to have a pretty good sea area. Also a walrus, a polar bear and a harp seal were good for the rocky shoreline. The grandson also wrote a 6 page report and reported on the plight of harp seals too.He painted the back of his harp seal with bright red paint to show what animal protection people do to save the little white furred seals. That paint did "stick" on the plastic seal. So the texture of the plastic was a good quality and could be painted with acrylic paints.Good items. Would buy other sets too. The packaging is very nice...animals in a tube(tobe)...nice touch.

PERFECT!
I came across these searching for something else & absolutely LOVE THEM!!!!These are the PERFECT size for toddler hands. I only purchase toys that are not made w/ harmful things & am so happy these are not made w/ anything bad. They are very cute. I sometimes get tired of figurines being cartoon like or an actual character. These are simply the real thing. They depict what they actually are & that is great! These were originally purchased to take in the car & not be heartbroken if lost/etc. However, these are played with everyday. I would say any child above 2 would enjoy these. Some of them are a bit small so be very careful, but they are very cute & educational.Only one con - the rabbit is very hard to keep standing up & that can be frustrating. However, I would still buy this set & it is not that big of a deal - just wanted to give the feedback so you'd be expecting it. Everything else stands up great.I have already bought several of the others & highly recommend them all.

Perfect for school project!
Perfect for my daughters 3rd grade school project - Polar Region Habitat. The animals were the perfect finishing touch and she loved moving them around and around finding the perfect spot for them to live. She also loved the fact that the animals could be kept after - she thinks they are so cute :)

Great for a 4yo sensory bin!
These were great for an arctic sensory bin for my 4yo. We combined them with some white moon dough and talked about camouflage and building snow dens. It really is hard to see the white animals in the white moon dough, so the lesson was well received! The quality of construction seems good, although the igloo is a bit flattened (but did not break!) from a stepping incident. The paint/print job is also good and not “freaky” like some of the cheaper figurines. My only wishes for improvement are that 1) they were just a bit bigger, like 0.5 in bigger, because it is way easy for my 1yo to pop one in his mouth before we notice (but not a criticism because the listing does say the size correctly) and 2) that they had a narwhal in the set because that’s my 4yo favorite animal atm!

Great product! Perfect for Arctic Tundra diorama!
Purchase these to complete an Arctic Tundra diorama for my 4th grade daughters science class. These worked perfectly and are made of a very heavy plastic. This set fulfilled all requirements she needed, 4 animals and a decomposer. She is very excited to get to keep the extras, as well as the ones used later. This was a huge time saver for me. A+ here!

Great for school project!
We ordered these for our daughter for a diorama that she had to do for school. Her project was arctic tundra. They worked perfectly. They are small but they worked perfectly for what we needed them for

Quality is ok
The media could not be loaded. I was most excited about the caribou, but it looks nothing like the picture. I prefer the wild republic brand. I’m just using these for my kindergartner for our artic animals lessons so it’s not a big deal but I thought I would share my thoughts. I was trying to decide between the two brands but ended up buying both because of the caribou.

Great collection of small, authentic looking figurines!
A delightful collection - the items are well-done and are made of sturdy hard rubber. They're small so I'm using them as cake decoration and then we'll keep them for play. The items will be kept in the 'Toob"! Only question is that, although I got the right number of items, the Eskimo hunter and the Musher with baby was not in the package. It arrived on time in good condition and I'm very glad to have it! This is for an older child who loves Arctic animals. They might be too small for very young children to play with.
