Snailfly Running Boards Side Steps Fit for Land Rover Defender 110 130 L663 4DOOR 2020 2021 2022 2023 2024 2025

I was hesitated about this product with the previous review. But I still want to give it a try. The package came on time and it was perfectly packed in the box. For the installation, it is easy with the instruction manual. It took me about 2 and 1/2 hours to put them up. Not bad !!!

Snailfly sent me an "open box/preowned/returned" set of running boards. I ordered brand new on Amazon, but Snailfly sent me something they had previously sold to another customer who returned it.The installation was extremely difficult. The driver-side running board was bent and the mounts were stripped. Once you get that far into the project, there is no turning back. I had to straighten the running board and rethread the mounts. This was no easy feat.Needless to say, I would not buy from Snailfly again. They are very dishonest. The installation should have taken approximately 3 hours, but due to the poor quality of the returned (should have been brand new) product, it took over 6 hours.

My Defender is all black, so this product being all black as well is what attracted me. The price was exceptional, the instructions were great, and the finished product installed looks and works better than expected. While I read the instructions I did have them professionally installed. The installer agreed the instructions were clear. They said after the first side, the second was even faster to install. No broken clips at all, and they loved the looks of them on the car. If you are even just considering step sides, I would encourage you to check these out. Great quality, great price, and really look fantastic.I would be remiss if I didn’t say something about the seller. I received them faster than I could have ever expected. The packaging was sturdy and I had no doubt my steps were secure inside. My overall experience with them was fantastic. Highly recommend.

I was very hesitant to order these but so far I'm glad I did. The price was great and after paying someone to install them they are working out well. They look good and they are very sturdy. I've had them on my vehicle for about 2 weeks and so far so good! I would recommend these. They look great on my 2024 Defender!

I could not be any happier with how this turned out! I tried to order the genuine side steps from the dealership but with long wait times decided to go this route. I ended up saving a ton of money and the product looks fantastic! I had my local LR shop (not dealership) do the install. Took them ~2hrs as there is some cutting and trim to remove and replace (same as Genuine OEM side step would require)...I would say this is 100% the exact same product you get from LR, just without the "DEFENDER" name on the step and without the additional $1000 mark up :)

Purchased for my 2022 LandRover Defender 110. Item stated it would fit. Just took it to the shop to have them installed professionally, and they stated that these will not fit unless they cut into the metal frame of the car. We didn't have a chance to take it to the shop until now, and we're outside of the return window. Hopefully they will still let us return them, and we will update our review if they at least have good customer service.

Ok so rails are nice but description is wrong. These will not work on a 2025. I had to pay a custom shop to install and cost about $800 and took two guys 4.5 hours. Still saved over $1k from OEM but was not easy.

Value for the money was good, but not great. I chose these over the OEM primarily because the trim is black and not silver. This could have been a 5 star review but their packaging for shipping caused both side to have small dents between the side steps. This was caused by the hardware box that was shipped between the two rails. LR ships theirs with the hardware at the end of the box (makes the box longer) thus preventing the heavy mounting supports from banging into the rails. The imperfections were not enough to return the items.
