Before buying this, I was using another docking station, but it was broken. So I bought this one. Actually I love this one more. The appearance of this adapter is very advanced and the metal texture is super sharp. The hub I bought before always encounters heating problems, but this one hardly needs to worry about that. I need to connect many devices to my surface but it is not always effective to connect so many wires directly from the notebook. With this hub, the connection problem can be easily solved, and it can be used anytime and anywhere without disconnecting the wires. Even if multiple devices are running at the same time, the data transportation stays fast, and as fast as other USB 3.0 devices. My dual monitors are working fine and there is no problem with the video output.so highly recommend this docking station.So far so good and feels like it will continue to be good.

Super satisfied with my purchase. Exactly as pictured and shown in the photos. I do want to say for those that have a screen protector or case for their surface pro, this device is tight and will not work with your screen protector or case. It fits like a glove and slides perfectly onto the tablet.

I bought this for my Surface Pro 7, it's specifically for this model, however, it feels like the fit is very sloppy, the slightest bump and it feels like the thing is just going to fall off/out. With that being said it functions as intended, I like the HDMI port. I feel like in 2024 we can ditch the SD card reader, the microSD slot is nice, but who is using full size memory cards these days?I do like the product, I just wish there was more in the way of design to keep the thing in place, I'm considering a semi-permanent adhesive.

A great improvement to a Microsoft Surface Pro, at a reasonable cost. The additional USB ports are valuable, but most importantly, I needed an HDMI port to quickly plug into podium cables when I am using my PC to make a presentation. It stays attached in a very reliable way, with a secure, low profile. I will never buy another dongle for my Surface Pro again.

Fully functioning hub. Works perfectly fine with my surface pro laptop.Includes all the ports I needed including HTML, USB and SD card reader. The dock itself sticks to my machine tightly and is very portable because of its shape and lightweight. Have bought a similar product somewhere else at a lower price, but that one didn’t stick as tightly as this one.Overall I would highly recommend this product, well worth it!

So the actual piece that slides onto the computer is very nice and very good quality it seems but if you are like any person in the world nowadays that lean towards protecting their little investment as I am, this product might not work for you. Let me explain. If you have your surface pro in a protective case of any kind, you must first remove the case in order to apply the clip on device. Making it rather a pain in the butt to do if you just wanna hook somn up real quick. So as it is with the case, the same can be said that if you have purchased and applied any type of screen protector, the device won’t clip on because of the paper thin screen protector is just too thick because the device is such a good and snug fit, you cannot have any screen protectors and/or protective case or any case for that matter if you want to also utilize this product. So in retrospect, this device seems as though it is a very well built and designed product but the functionality of it may take a serious nosedive once you get it and then have to totally strip your computer down in order to get it to connect. Hope this helps someone out there in the interWeb, I tried to be as descriptive as I could be.

This docking station is great if you can get it on the screen. The USB3 connector does not fit into the slot smoothly and I have managed to scratch the heck out of my brand new Surface trying to get it on. It shouldn’t have to take 5 minutes of fussing with something to get it to work properly. I do not have a screen protector on my laptop so that’s not the reason for the dock not fitting. Purely aggravating and a waste of money.
