Great door stop
This is a solid metal, heavy duty door stop. I ordered 2 and got 2 different sets of hardware with them (identical package though). One package contained a lag screw setup so that you could screw it straight down into the floor and the other package included a regular bolt setup which would have required a nut from underneath. The one pictured in the item description is the lag screw setup with only 1 hole for a set screw on the top. The second product I received had 3 holes in the flange and was easy to screw down into a wood floor. I had not problems with installation of either. They worked great for stops on out-swinging doors onto a deck where the decking is lower than the finish floor height inside the house. Most other door stops are too short to work in this application.

**Installation Instructions**
These are awesome doorstops, particularly if you have doors that have a gap of an inch or more over the floor. I had a question about installation since there were no instructions. Emailed the company and received these instructions as well as an apology for not including instructions. Note that instructions are specific to my scenario which was installing on wood laminate flooring over concrete floor. From vendor: There are two types of anchors. One is a plastic anchor and the other is a wedge lead anchor. The wedge lead anchor is the one that the threaded 5/16” machine screw rod goes into. The hole size you will have to drill into concrete is 5/8” for the wedge anchor. At the bottom of this anchor is a cone shaped wedge. When you put the anchor down into the hole in the concrete, the wedge goes to the bottom. You take a hammer and lightly hit down on the rim of the anchor. This will drive the wedge into the body of the anchor seating it into the concrete. The plastic anchor uses the sheet metal screw to keep the door stop from moving once it has been attached to the 5/16” machine screw rod. You drill a 1/4” hole into the concrete for the plastic anchor. The center to center distance between the plastic and metal anchor is 7/8”. You do need 2 types of drill bits for your situation, 1 wood bit to go through your laminate and 1 masonry but you also need 2 sizes, 1/4” & 5/8”. Once you have all the holes drilled, put the anchors in and seat them. Insert the 5/16” machine screw rod into the wedge anchor then screw on the base of the door stop until the ¼” hole of the door stop aligns with the plastic anchor. Install the sheet metal screw and you are done.Note from me: Since the lead anchor had to be lowered through the hole in my wood laminate floor into the corresponding hole in the concrete, I could not use a hammer to wedge it down in the hole (which would work if you are only going into concrete). I took a socket from my socket wrench set that had the same outside diameter as the lead wedge and placed it in the hole in my laminate floor over the wedge and then hammered that down to lock the wedge in place. Worked great.

Gets the job done
We are using these for door stops and to hold doors open on entrance doors to our sanctuary. They look good and are inconspicuous. They do their job well of providing a stop so the door doesn't hit the wall and or strain the hinge. The hook has helped keep the door open when a breeze was present.

Surprisingly large and sturdy.
Very sturdy. Has a large screw in the center of the base that can be fastened to the surface or floor. 3 smaller screws around the edge of the base. Took about 10 minutes to install.

Does the job
Used this door stop to hold a 3’0” exterior door open, so it’s not blown shut on a windy day. Installation took some careful measurements and a hammer drill. Having it properly anchored is crucial to its mission of holding a large door, blown about in the wind. It has been two weeks of windy weather. This door stop is up the challenge.
