These mats add a bunch of great variety to our tabletop RPG with a lot of different environments (sand, beach, snow, forest, and two types of stone). Our group does a lot of one-offs so these are perfect for the variety of senarios we get into. The pack also comes with four small markers, an eraser, and an empty spray bottle. I like that the markers have erasers on them to prevent people from using their fingers as erasers. They are good quality and seem like they will last a long time (not flimsy). Make sure you only use the markers provided to prevent permanent staining (happened to us once, but the awesome customer service sent a free replacement).These are a good size and fit well on our table. If you are using a side that was on the inside of the roll you'll have to put something on the corners to keep it from curling up. Would recommend to anyone looking for battle mats!

So I got these mats and used them for Dnd games. The mat's patterns makes it very easy to set an encounter in a forest, at the shore, in a dungeon, etc, without having to have all sorts of other tiles and accessories. It was very easy to pull out the next map or flip it over and understand that they had moved to a new location. The dry erase erases really well. It is great for encounters and fights. As with all dry erase, it's not great for long term maps. The mats roll easily and unroll easily as well. The mats are more paperlike than cloth like so it is possible to put small creases in it.

The battle mats are great, very durable, high definition, erases really well, and very easy to unroll when used. The only complaint is that the markers especially the colored ones are quite hard to see on the darker mats, also the use is quite niche compared to a regular mat so while I wouldn’t recommend it to a minimalist GM, but to GMs who love to buy extra things for their players for immersion and such this is a must have!

Unfortunately with the coronavirus, I haven’t gotten to use the mats yet... but omg they’re beautiful! I can’t wait to put them to use! They’re super high quality and the artwork on them is fantastic! Great buy for the money! You get two different battle mats per mat because they’re double sided!!

I bought these because of the advertised high-resolution printing, and I'm glad I did. The print quality is sharp and high quality, and the textures used look great. I was able to DM a game the day after the mats arrived and followed the instructions to flatten them. It too longer than 30 seconds however, and I ended up putting the mat reversed in the tube for 30 minutes to get it flat enough.
