These are NEATO!
I used these to go between two buildings where we don't have cellular or landlines available, great to be able to communicate clearly without the need for radios. Simply connects over a single copper pair and can run off of AA batteries or 110vac. I used CAT-5 UTP for about a 200' run, the sound quality was excellent. One of the handsets is powered by 110VAC the other on AAs. Sounds clear and rings loud in fact, my only complaint is the ringer, if you pick it up too quickly or someone at the other end presses the ring button it is very loud in your ear.

Great Intercom Phone System
My wife is in a nursing facility with Alzheimer's. I'm using this system so we can communicate better, 6 foot social distancing is required for visits, this really helps. The facility will be installing a Plexiglas barrier between the two tables. This will help all patients to communicate when family visits. The product works great, very clear, no noise.

$42 well spent
Works great. We replaced the 3’ wire with a 25 ft cord, super easy. Set them up in granddaughters rooms and they LOVE THEM! $42 for hours and hours of fun. They play school, family, office and can talk whenever they like :)

Great for clear communications!
I bought these to communicate between the house and my workshop as cell service is really bad in the area. Used cat 6 cable running about 180 feet to connect the units. Plenty of power, they sound great! Would rate at 5 stars if the bell would ring until the other unit picks up.

Excellent sound at 150'
The handsets come with a 3' cable connecting them. I was a little concerned that there was some 60Hz buzz with this short of a connection. However, if you use twisted pair wire, the sound quality is excellent. We used cat5 cable over about a 150' run, using the handsets powered from 110VAC. Excellent sound quality, plenty loud.Note that the box says they work on 220VAC, but this is not true. The plugs are 110VAC and they run fine at that voltage.

Totally useless. Embarrassed I paid for these.
Even in the 80s the tech was better. We had intercom phones you just plugged in two seperate outlets. These suck so bad because they have to be wired. Complete waste of money.

Doesn't come with long enough wire.
Easy to use.But only came with 3ft of wire.No offer of purchasing longer wire.

phones work as advertised
Was just what I was looking for. Phones came fast and on day expected. After marking which terminal went from one phone to the other, I replaced the included 3ft wire with a 80' of phone cable. used one of the twisted pairs. Call quality and ring tone are great. I recommend them.
