I use it as an analog input and it works great! Just make sure your controller uses a voltage reference to avoid "noise" in your measurements.

Cool Sensors, Very Accurate
These sensors are incredibly sensitive and accurate, works great for my line-following robot.

They also have an analog output
There is an A0, analog, output as well. This is nice because you can look at the normal resting state of the sensors' raw output and as the sensor gets dirty, you can include code that reminds you to clean it.

Don't work. Stays stuck on input voltage.
Can't adjust the voltage at all with the potentiometer.
