Great item but paracord does not last long
This is a great item and i am very happy w/ the 3 hatchets. But the paracord does not last long and unravels after not much use. The cord slips down off the handle and unravels and you have to retie it. In one case it caught around my finger as i threw the hatchet and it injured my finger which is now swollen.I put contact glue on the metal handle and then retied the cord to hold the cord in place. The hatchets i like - the cord is good initially but unravels way too quickly and can be a danger if it catches as you throw it.

Solid and sharp will endure abuse
Solid and sharp. The cord wrap comesvery loose and will loosen off in just 3 throws. They throw great from 9-10 feet and 15-16 feet. They will outlast the SOG and throw better than a cold steel hawk. Worth the money

Sturdy and well made
We went through three sets of wooden handled exes for throwing before we discovered these. Clearly you get what you pay for, these are great exes. The only minor gig I would have is that the rope at the bottom of the handle can come loose. I hot glued mine so it won’t unravel again. The axes are well balanced and throw quite well. I’m going to order another set of them tonight.
