BA-100 Missing parts
The BA-100 was missing advertised items. It came with only the casing and the battery. There was no mounting bracket are connecting cable. (…neither was there an external charger, however that wasn’t clear wether that charger would be included.…followup; seller provided missing parts. Backup was installed and worked fine.

Electronic components failed after 1 year
Blinking blue light? Battery itself is fine and holding the charge. Tested out the unit and the battery - unit's electronic components have failed. What's the point of being a back-up when back-up fails when you need it?When you start seeing blinking blue light (of death) - it's the unit, not your mind or the battery... Company needs to be serious about their warranty and stand behind their product to be taken seriously.1 year warranty.I do NOT recommend this product.

Failed after only 15 months!
I purchased this 15 months ago at a big box store. I tested it after it was installed by unplugging my garage door opener and it worked great.Today, we had our first power outage. I noticed the battery beeping about 30 minutes into the outage. The battery had enough juice to light up the wall switch, but not enough to actually power the opener.What a waste of $55!

This is essentially a 12 volt battery with a charger. Output is in DC. You would need an Inverter to power the GDO. In addition, It does not have enough power to operate a garage door opener. I ended up using the battery and charger for other purposes.
