I love that these are right angle so that when soldered onto PCB and put into breadboard, another PCB, or female socket they stand up from the board. When wired the pins are now not in the way like the would be if the module was not being mount on top of another board. And to make them super flush, providing clearance is present is to removed plastic bead off from separated wire

I use these to make my arduino nanos and i2c sensors very low profile. Dupont wires connect directly to them of course and they make a nano into a flat device.They take solder well.
