Ease of Use
This was my first time making homemade pasta! One word for the experience...delicious! Don't skimp on your flour...get the best! You will be so shocked at what it tastes like! The whole project on making spaghetti was super simple! I will NEVER go back to dried pasta! Great taste!

Perfect pizza crust
I use this flour (and some sourdough starter, and some all purpose flour) to make pizza crust. It's delicious. It also works well for pasta. It has a very high gluten content, so you don't have to knead long. It is a 2 pound bag of flour and the bag is a re-sealable plastic zip top bag. One bag pretty much makes one family sized batch of pasta. It's a typical semolina grind, a little courser than your typical flour, but not all all gritty. The flavor of the flour is good. it's fresh and not at all rancid. My only complaint is the price, it's more expensive than the semolina I normally buy.

Good Quality Semolina Flour - Finely Ground for a Nice Smooth Dough
The PuroRaw Semolina Flour is a versatile flour that is perfect for making pasta, bread doughs, and pizza crusts. The 2lb resealable bag is easy to store in a cabinet or freezer and helps keep the flour fresh until you're ready to use it. The flour has a nice naturally bright yellow color to it and is easy to knead into a smooth pliable dough. The grind is a bit more gritty than the finely ground all-purpose flour, but not excessively gritty - it yields a nice toothsome pasta that has a little "bite" to it. The flavor of the semolina is spot on, and I had no issues with odd or "off" flavors. While this flour is a bit more expensive than other semolina flour I've purchased, the quality is very good and is high enough where I would have no issues with purchasing it again. If you're looking to purchase semolina flour and don't want to bother leaving your house to visit the store, this is a great option to consider.

Semolina is for far more than pasta and pizza
I'm the chief cook in our family and, when I saw this sack of semolina flour available for review via the VINE program, I was happy to do so.One thing I like about this product is that it comes in an easily resealable bag that keeps the flour fresh in our pantry. In our family, 2 pounds of this flour will last a while, so storage is an issue. The previous semolina brand we'd been buying in our store wasn't packaged with such a resealable top, so I always had to move the flour over into one of our plastic containers, then label it as "semolina." This is much more convenient. The main point of my review is to say to customers: Hey, there's a whole world of baking and cooking with semolina that goes far beyond pasta and pizza, which are the well-known foods made from semolina. My favorite is a relatively easy Greek cake made with yogurt and options of mixing in fruit or nuts. Simply search for semolina recipes and you may be surprised at how many options you'll find.
