Car Stereo with Backup Camera Compatible with Carplay & Android Auto, APHQUA 7 in Touch Screen Car Audio Receiver with Bluetooth, Mirror Link, Google, Dash or Windshield Mounted

I was apprehensive about purchasing this but with the $100 of I figured I’d give it a try. Previously I owned a car where I had a CarPlay unit installed and it cost over $1000. This one was only $200 plus tax and it works great. I do use an aux cable which makes sound the best over the optional fm transmitter connection. It sticks right where I need it and what’s nice about it not being hard installed is I can set it up for whichever of my cars I’m driving. So far so great. Would definitely recommend

It took a bit of back and forth and some effort on my part (I did have to buy a high speed usb stick to update the software but I don't mind sometimes that's what it takes). Sadly my truck is waiting for a tow and it could be months before I get to drive it again. No more 'buzzing'. As soon as I can figure out how to get the backup camera to mirror will upgrade to 5 starsWe bought this for a 2007 Suburban so we would have a back up camera and Apple CarPlay. We were gone for 3 weeks so have only had limited use and only 2 weeks left to return. #1 - the power keeps popping out of the 12v port - we tried directly to the truck and through an adapter (to allow multiple connections and with an on/off switch as we killed our truck battery the first weekend). It wont stay in so the unit disconnects if you hit a bump, after you fumble to reconnect (while driving) you have to restart AirPlay. #2 - the unit emits a high frequency squeal so we have had to mute it - making the turn by turn directions useless.

I purchased this because I didn't want to replace the stock radio. The unit works well, has a nice screen, and has snappy performance. The unit showed up, with some of the features inoperative. I contacted Support, and they responded quickly. As is often the case with these gadgets, it needed a software update. Support provided it quickly, and it improved performance. Of note, the speaker mute button was inoperative, but through subsequent email correspondence they identified a small procedure to remedy that problem. The only complaint I have is that the manual is incomplete with holes in the setup instructions (i.e. the speaker mute problem). Overall, I am happy with the purchase and its nice to have CarPlay in my older car.

The functionality is good. No problems with it. The display isn’t awesome. Seems kind of dull. I was able to adjust the display settings so it was somewhat better.
