Very Nice and Easy Unless You Want To Complicate It
Very nice model.Easy to work with and educational. You can watch some videos where the engine was detailed.Only problem I have is that it was mailed in a box that could hold three maybe four kits.

Good Quality Kit
I am not a fan of Academy (Revell) models. This one is a superior quality for them maybe because it was originally a Monogram kit.

The model is very well made and as accurate as a plastic model can be.
The model was accurately molded and most all parts fit properly. There was not a large need for trimming and sanding with the exception of a few areas to ensure the accuracy and appearance that I was wanting. For the price and quality, this was a great buy.

Very interesting Model
This model was fairly easy to Build / Assemble. The Engine itself was really straightforward. The only difficulties I had were as follows; The soft, copper colored plastic part that mounts to the front of the engine, is sandwiched between 2 plastic pieces that don't fit tight. The model glue I had and used would not bond to the soft plastic piece and the clearance between the two parts was more than the glue could effectively work at.I ended up drilling some small holes, where the "engine's" bolts would be and inserted some small brass dowels and used some 5 min epoxy to secure them. The other issue was the engine stand. the parts were really warped and I had to use a hairdryer to soften them up a bit to straighten them. The stand is still a bit wonky. The black wheels at the bottom do not have any keepers so I put the wheels on without painting and then melt riveted them in place by melting the axle's that extended out.I still have some touch up work to do but I'm really happy with the outcome.

Some damage to the box
The pieces inside were okay. For a collector a damaged box is not a good thing, especially if you wanted to leave the clear plastic on to maintain the originality.

Not very detailed.
Not very detailed in the molding. But it's just for a desk item so no biggie.
