THE NEGATIVE: There was so much controversy and confusion with the shipping and receiving of this item. However, Amazon was able to rectify things on my behalf, so instead of disclosing the details of the negative mishaps & findings that occurred I rather say thank you for Amazon’s cooperation and consideration as they worked diligently to fulfill things effectively and for that I am grateful 😇…LET’S TALK POSITIVES: The Miko3 is more than just a another toy. It’s a fun and educational true to life bot buddy 🤖 equipped it with high technology the Miko3 gives kids the companion they may need, the help they may seek, & the thrills they may fine with this highly efficient product. I definitely recommend Miko3 for kids of all ages specified. Miko3 does it all from school work assistance & life skills to jokes games dance & all out fun! This little guy is the best invention since the Teddy Ruxpin, I am glad that my daughter has one. Unfortunately I had to return mine as unbeknownst to me she asked her grandparents for the same thing so rather than to have them send theirs back I will return mine out of respect 😇 no love lost for the Miko3 as she still has one only thing different is the color (I liked the blue one but she now has red since that’s what was purchased for her) I am grateful to her grandparents for ensuring that she received such an awesome gift 🎁, I say RUN to get your child(s) the Miko3 yes it’s a bit pricey but worth every penny I ensure you that it’s something your kids can enjoy alone or with the entire family! Miko3 not a toy but a friend🤩

Read the bad reviews and believe them.By far, the worst Amazon purchase. I read the bad reviews but was fooled by YouTube videos with decent reviews so decided to buy one. After you put in your child’s information and credit card info, you cannot reset or delete that info unless you call customer service. And that’s when it gets complicated.First, it’s a bad version of google home or Alexa. It didn’t understand our speech and we have no accents. It didn’t follow our commands. It gives a confused look when it doesn’t understand you.They get you to subscribe to their contents which were not great and boring. If your child has an iPad or kindle, this is far less entertaining and doesn’t hold their interest. Also the touch screen doesn’t work. My daughter kept pushing the same button and it wouldn’t respond to her touch and kept freezing.Then after 2 days, the screen froze in “android mode” and it would not restart (see picture attached). After going back and forth with customer service for over a month, having to write multiple letters stating why I was seeking customer service and why I was returning it per their request, they finally sent a return label. They made it so so hard to return it. I sent it back to their company weeks ago but have not yet received a refund and I highly doubt I will. This company is the worst.Update: I still haven’t gotten a refund, 4 months after returning. This product is a scam.

We bought this on a deal. Not too bad.Setup was easy and the device connected to my phone very quickly. The device did need an upgrade to the operating system and a power charge on arrival. Separately, that would've been fine, but my kids were dying to use immediately. So if I had any warnings here, it's keep outta sight until you're fully complete with the basics.The Miko3 comes in a fun package, so my kids were excited to "discover" it.The Miko3 has a large number of applications and some paid content through their premium features. We opted for the free stuff in the short term. (Be aware that the content is geared to kids ages 3-9.)My kids are most enthusiastic about the dance games and the "freeze" game using the camera. The promo videos show the Miko3 moving more robustly than it does. (I know, don't fully trust the promos.) Basically, it'll move forward about 5 inches and spin in circles. The Miko3 is still fun despite that letdown.My biggest issue is the limited amount of worthwhile content. Our Miko3 doesn't understand voice commands well, and that means we ended up typing more commands than speaking.I also expected Miko3 to act more like an AI assistant (Siri, Google, or Alexa.) That is not the case. Miko3 is better classified as a glorified tablet with some voice command abilities.We also had difficulty with the device calling feature. I'm sure this is a me, more than the device, problem, but despite my every attempt I couldn't get the Miko3 to call the parent phone - phone to Miko3 worked fine. Tech support attempted, and I give them tremendous credit, but I got frustrated trying to tech support with non-native English and heavily accented support personnel. The communication breakdown was frustrating to the point I gave up. (Great and swift support, just too difficult to speak with each other.)Overall, while I foolishly believed my kids would use this everyday, even the youngest (9) abandoned Miko3 in 2 days after the novelty wore off - smartphones are still king .

Great robot, but unfortunately my young granddaughter is not able to function at a sufficient level for it. Otherwise a great little educational help.

I ordered this for my son for Christmas , he’s so excited to use it and can’t because it does not come with a Canadian charger, what a disappointment .

I’m here a couple days before Christmas trying to set it up so it’s ready to go for my son. It keeps freezing over and over again whenever I try to do anything on it. When I restart it, it then freezes on the loading screen and I have to restart it again and again until it finally boots up. Then I use it for a few minutes and it crashes and freezes again. Been at it for hours. Now I have to go buy another gift for my kid because this one is crap. I would definitely not recommend this product as it is in its current condition.

Pay almost $400, you get a low quality AI, which can't answer nothing. Most of its better App need to pay. For is price, you can buy a used iPad and play with its free and smart SIRI. Return it.
