Excellent Fix for Broken Timing Chain Bolt - Don't forget to apply a little sealant
A very permanent and cost-effective way to fix a sheared or broken timing chain bolt. Don't forget to add a bit of sealant to prevent leaks. The bold comes with Loctite applied to the threads.

No Brainer
Do yourself a favor. Way better than oem design. You probably need to replace this bolt anyway because it got chewed up. I can't put it plainer than that. The first guy that started machining these was selling them for $50 he should have pattened it

Bought this as a precaution to a known problem.
I got this only because of replacing the timing chain set and the known problem of the bolt breaking off. My bolt wasn't broke off but this precaution will keep that from ever happening.

Hopefully it exists !
The media could not be loaded. Wonderful screw that let me fix my timing chain without removing the engine head ! It's super nice to see it is shipped to France, as the Z22SE engine we got on Opel cars is basically a GM L61 with the same issues...In France we don't have such life saver fixes, and I was about to remove my head to bore and tap the original guide screw hole when I discovered this gem.As you can see the quality isn't top notch, but it's only 10 bucks and more than strong enough !

Works
This company would do well to work a deal with the person who came up with this solution to a poor design. This item should become the OEM.

Very slick little repair for 2.4 ecotec timing chain issues.
If you know what this is for, you will know what an amazing little fix this is for the 2.4 timing chain issues. Frankly, this ought to be the part that GM uses...but shhhhhh....don't tell them, otherwise we won't have any more repair work!

Best invention over GM's design fault.
Greatest invention over GM's design fault. It fits perfectly and works great and I feel very secure with this bolt. Anyone changing the Timing chain guide, you have to use this to prevent further damage. I'm a very happy customer. ;)
