The manufacture of my old frame notified me that they were going to charge over $20 per month to keep my existing photos or I will lose thousands of photos on my frame. How companies can do this is beyond me. I have a cloud subscription (Apple iCloud) and all my photos are stored in iCloud. No point in paying another cloud storage subscription I already have one.After reviewing many other frames, I decided to go with Aura as it seamlessly integrates with shared or regular albums on iCloud Photos (and checks for new photos regularly), so a no brainer.Setup was a breeze and within a few short minutes the photos from my selected iCloud Photos Albums magically appeared on the frame. It does not get easier than that!I initially bought this for my in-laws but I liked it so much, I replaced mine as well.Unfortunately it does not play video from the iCloud albums yet. Hopefully the manufacturer will add this functionality in the near future.This will be my go to gift for friends and family.

I’m so glad I chose to invest properly this time rather than skimping out for the sake of saving a few dollars. Sure, you could opt for something cheaper and perhaps have better luck, but consider what happens after 30 days when it stops working and you can’t even contact the company for support, especially if they’re based in China. Ultimately, you might end up tossing it in the trash along with your hard-earned money, only to face the hassle of purchasing another one. It’s worth asking: wouldn’t it have been easier and less frustrating to make a smart investment from the start? In the long run, you may find that you end up spending even more than I did.

They were sceptical, and so was I, because it's a computer gadget. But once we got it set up and the family started uploading pics from the app every week, it is a huge hit. They don't have to touch it other than to hit the "like" or swipe to another photo. They often sit and watch it for extended periods, and I see almost daily notifications that they "liked" a photo, letting us know they've been sitting there enjoying it.Screen is bright, beautiful, and viewable from all angles.

So my one requirement for a picture frame is that it automatically sync with Google Photos albums. I have had digital picture frames in the past and I would load them up and forget about them. After doing some research the resounding response was the Aura frame and while I was hesitant about the premium price, I’m super happy with my purchase. I can easily add photos to an album and they appear seamlessly on the frame.It would be nice if Google allowed a sync with the favorites album, which is not supported now, but I can’t fault Aura for that.Photo quality is excellent, light levels are just right, and the appearance is real classy.Top marks so far!
