Great value on sale
Was looking forward to the K688 and it did not disappoint! I used the A6T for a couple of years now but I wanted a more clean and professional look. Bought an aokeo boom arm with this mic and all is well. Perfect for streaming, content creation in general, and a daily gaming mic. Size is compact and it comes with a shock mount. No rgb like previous mics, the only light the k688 has is the mute button. Fifine really designed a very nice mic built for both xlr and usb.

Great Construction, Shock Absorber Bands are a Pain
The microphone sounds really good for its price. The only downfall I see is the huge struggle I went through when putting the bands back on the shock absorber, they were a pain in my butt.It is a great budget microphone for those who want to start getting into the XLR world! I tied this microphone with the Fifine SC3 Audio Interface, nothing special but it gets the job done. I also combined this mic with an Elgato XLR cable and the InnoGear Mic Arm. It picks up keyboard clacking and thumps but overall it handles it okay. The construction of the microphone feels like a good quality metal, except the swivel point, which is made out of plastic. It has an XLR input for audio interfaces but it also has a USB-C input for those who just want a plug and play mic. The dials on the back are plastic but twist very smoothly. It has gain adjustment and headphone input sensitivity which work pretty well. The latency from the headphone input is there but not horrible.I wish I could give this product a 5 star rating but the bands that hold the mic to the shock mount are very small and hard to get back into the hooks. Overall, I am very happy with this product, I've had it for around 2 years now.
