I thought this might be a bit cheap 'n' cheerful given the price, but it looks like a sturdy well designed bit of kit.Takes 2xAA batteries (included) and the green self-levelling laser guidelines are very clear and easy to see.Reasonably Lightweight (11g), it also comes with a mounting thread underneath to attach it to a tripod or it will sit on any surface larger than a few inches.Unit is waterproof, dustproof, shockproof, wear resistant and impact resistant.Overall, great value for money and a useful addition to my toolbox.

I have had a lot of lazer levels in my time, an most, have been terrible! This one though, it has a light that is strong, an clearly visiable, a clear winner over all the other levels i have had in the past! Its excellent light makes leveling a lot lot easier, its ability to self level, or, be used at a self set angle makes it extremely versitile. Controls are a bit of a pain, but, they do work if followed correctly. I do recomend this over device over ALL the other levels i have tried to use in the past. Its good, its cheap, it works, perfect!

Bought this after reading reviews to wallpaper a very uneven room. (Floor slopes). Being me I couldn't live with it not being vertically straight. It moved with each step in the room but I managed to get the first piece on nice and straight. Then used the horizontal line to keep it level across the wall. Its worked wonders. It'll be used on picture rail and tiling next. People mention the battery case is weak and breaks easily, but this one doesn't seem it, so maybe its been updated.. 2 AA batteries come supplied, but these are cheap so won't last long. The green light is barley visible in strong sun light (coming in from the window). But general day time light you can still see it.Has a lock feature for transportation so the pendulum doesn't break and for manual leveling... All in all not bad for the money.

The first one had to be returned due to a fault. The batteries would still drain even after switching off. Huepar customer services were so quick in sending out a replacement and I received it within a few days. The 902CG is brilliant. I have no idea how I managed for so long without this. It really is top notch (not much praise then). The laser line is a bit thicker compared to Stanley's cross-line level, but you just mark the edge of the line and you're good to go. Ridiculously accurate straight out of the box. The magnetic base even attached to the corner of my walls, what??? And there's actually no need for a tripod in most cases. It takes about 2 - 3 seconds to settle, then mark your lines. Seriously though, this is a sick device that is so well worth the money. Well done Huepar. Oh, and a two year warranty to boot.

I bought this to help with putting up a new curtain rail at my son's house. Before I got this, I've never quite managed to put a rail or picture up straight (home owner since 1976...). The laser level really helped get the rail up spot on, although we needed two people to have it effective (one held the level whilst the other marked the drilling points along the rail length). I'm not sure I could have done it on my own. We've since used it to reposition a curtain rail bracket in our own home and it was great. The green light was perfect for our eyes and it was bright and clear. At one point I dropped the unit form ceiling height and expected it to be broken. It wasn't and still functioned perfectly. Don't try this at home though: I did it so you don't have to. All in all I am very happy with my purchase and can see it being useful for some time to come.

Well worth the money, thought I’d written a review on this when first bought, but obviously hadn’t. The laser is very bright & easy to use & has worked brilliantly for 4 years. Unfortunately the battery compartment cover broke off when replacing the batteries this year so on the off chance I contacted Huepar to see if they could send out a new piece as there was nothing wrong with the level itself. Customer services were amazing; they couldn’t have been more helpful, prompt or courteous in resolving my problem, which they did. Should you find yourself trying to decide between a Huepar make & something else, I can only say go Huepar as the after service is fantastic. I’m not paid for this review, just a very satisfied customer. Many thank Huepar!

Great little laser. Simple to use and a great price. I needed a laser for a job the next day to fit transfers to panels following the existing sloping foor. We locked off the pendulum and it worked perfectly.I carried out an accuracy check for the horizontal laser and found the accuracy to be 0.3mm over 10m left to right and 2.75mm over 10m front to back. So almost perfect in on direction and within the manufacturers specification on the other. It would be very rare that need any better than that. I haven't checked the vertical laser for accuracy yet but i am sure that is spot on too.The laser is bright indoors but on a sunny day you may struggle seeing the laser over 10m but the do sell a detector which would solve this if it were a problem for you. Even if you buy this too the lot will but less than half the cost of most comparable units.

But not great either. Seems to work well but the line is rather wide so there is plenty of room for error when using it to create a perfect level. However it’s good value when you consider the price. If you’re a professional this is unlikely to cut it. But for occasional use it’s better than a normal level.
