Perfect bits for recessing door pulls, hinges, etc
I decided to install my first pocket door and one thing I quickly discovered after tearing into the wall and buying a slab door was the need to make some jigs and rout for the handle and pull hardware.Despite my collection of over 36 router bits, a number of which I have never used, I didn't have any of these - flush bits with a guide wheel at the shank instead of the tip. This turns out a perfect collection for pocket door hardware, and the assorted sizes - I thought them a little overkill - turned out to be a godsend as I used three or them for this one small project.I did a couple of test cuts on scrap and it's a good thing I did, just to get used to using these for two depths (shallow on the outside and deep on the inside). To my surprise, I found it better to cut the smaller, deeper cuts first so I could get a better site on clamping my jig for the next wider, shallow cuts. These came sharp sharp, each in a nice and secure little clear case. Deep shanks for good purchase. No idea how long they will last but for this first project, much better suited for my task than I realized when placing the order. Very satisfied!

I can't complain
I had an emergency project for work and since my local big box stores didn't have the pattern bits I needed, I used this set daily for routing 3/4" birch plywood for 2 weeks. I probably put 40-50 hours on the bits (mostly the shorter bit, and then longer bits when I had to double and triple the depth of the route by stacking the plywood) They performed flawlessly. I would probably spend more money for use on hardwoods but these got me out of a pinch.

Good for price
I’ve used the 1/4 in round over on several hardwood boxes and it has stayed sharp and done the job.

They do as advertised
I have only used these on softwoods, but they seem to work exactly as they should. End grain can get chewed up a little bit on the softwoods. If you were doing a lot of end grain, I would suggest a spiral flush trim bit

Works great if used with softer woods
These work okish . I would not recommend them for hardwoods like paduk , wenge , purple heart and such . But for pine or basswood the work very well. These are not the worst in the world and definitely go slow and easy on end grain

Lovely trim bits
These are very nice trim bits, especially the longer one, as it allows to reach quite deep into the wood (but don't go more than 1/4 deep per pass). After few weeks of medium use they seem to be still quite sharp.
