Received today. Had it up and running with several radio units and configurations. Half duplex repeater using portable handheld, as well as base radios or any combination. Also tested Cross band repeater functions and it works like a champ.Looking at the various reviews on these types of units generally are poor because of user errors and misunderstanding of how to setup. It's also not to manufacturer credit to label the unit with a configuration that was prior version. Plus no instructions to setup. However there is no input output specific plugs. They are bidirectional..I actually paired this with a commercial receiver and a mobile radio set up as a base and created a 100 watt repeater easily. Using it on business license band and amateur working awesome.

This is a perfect item for those who need a fast repeater setup! It's fast and easy to set up with no hassle!

It works but has several flaws. 1) Input and output labeling is nonexistent. What is on the label lists which end is which but it has a serial port so label is useless. 2) The pin for speaker on the transmit side is too long, a design flaw. It Must Be pulled out slightly or the transmit side or it will stayed keyed and continue to transmit until the battery dies. 3) None of the makers of these devices have yet to figure out the speaker pin on the transmit side is too long. It simply needs to be there to break the connection from the radio to its own speaker Not To act as a speaker output.Bottom line: It works but it is not “plug and play” and All relays of this type on the market today have this design flaw. The serial port design is excellent and with a little trial and error you can figure out which cable goes to which radio… But be sure to pull the speaker pin out of the transmit radio slightly or the device will fail and you might never figure it out.Attention manufacturers: Be the 1st to change the speaker pin problem and you will have the market all to yourselves. Had the pin problem been corrected it would be a 5 star product and plug and play, but it got 4 stars because of the pin issue.

Don’t waste your time and money on this. I purchased one to build a repeater box and once I took it out of the plastic bag it came in I started doubting on the results I would have. I hooked it up to both radios after having done my homework in terms of all the radio settings which could affect and it never worked. It is poorly built and fragile, the first one had a loose connector and you could see the poor soldering it had so I requested a replacement and the replacement had the exact same issues in which the radio receives, the transmit radio keys however it only keys for one or two seconds and no audio is transmitted. I gave up with these and sent both back. I ended up getting the Surecom SR-629 and it’s working seamlessly.

Funcionan perfectamente con radios Baofeng (Solo con esos he probado). Es un artículo plug and play. No son necesarios ajustes, salvo el volumen de los radios. Se pone a funcionar en menos de 5 minutos.

Didn’t work, continuous hot-mic as soon as I turn the radios on. No instructions included. Figured it was too good to be true, turns out it was.
