I wanted to try out tufting as a hobby, so I got this combo kit to try it out. It's great value for the price, however I did have an issue with the shearing guide for the trimmer. When I inserted the trimmer into the wooden holder, it overlapped with the guide quite a bit and I was unable to use it. I reached out to customer service and they sent a brand new set of trimmers very quickly.Despite that small issue, the gun works great and the kit has everything you need to make your first rug. I have since upgraded guns but still hold onto this one just in case. Maybe I will pass it on to someone that is interested in the hobby and doesn't know where to start.

This would be a zero star if i could write it. This item was ordered as a Christmas gift. It was missing multiple things and can not even be used. Their was no yarn. Their was no connector to even plug in the actual tufting gun. Their was no clippers. This was extremely disappointing.

I been debating on should I or shouldn't I. Will I did. Packaging very well, love the box it came in, like Christmas again. Lol...I haven't used it yet, cause I need a frame. Unfortunately I have to try to build one, because I don't have extra $$ to buy one. This machine is heavy, all the stuff was there in box, well packaged. So I will update when I get to use it. Hopefully soon. Happy Easter

I've made several rugs since this thing arrived tow weeks ago. Each getting better and better. I had no issues with it being my first tufting gun I had nothing to compare the difference. All I knew is u was making progress. Anyway, in the middle of a project I noticed the scissors not fully retracting. I seen a tutorial that said they might be dirty. Then I saw another saying scissors could be damaged from hitting the frame. And I have got the frame a time or two.My main issue is the trigger all of a sudden has a delay.
