Comparison to 2014 MacBook Pro 15"
Bought mine in Midnight and have been using for a month now so thought I’d share some views in comparison to my previous 2014 15” MacBook Pro.Firstly the good bits:- There is no fan so it’s dead quiet. I’ve not yet found it gets hot at all for general web browsing, videos, multitasking with lots of tabs etc.- It’s about half a kilo lighter and quite a lot thinner. This means it’s much comfier to have on my lap and use.- The smaller bezels of the screen look lovely. Almost like a modern iPad which I think is pretty cool.- Touch ID is very useful for logging in. Open the screen, touch your finger and you’re in. I have set up different fingerprints for different accounts which is handy.- The keyboard is lovely. Nice short key travel but not rattly at all. The backlighting is much better than before and automatically changes and has very little light leak around the keys. The Escape key is now much bigger which is actually really useful for closing pop out videos or full screen things etc.- Battery life is fantastic. I can’t offer any real stats but I rarely need to charge it.- The Midnight colour is really beautiful. Looks very sleek and modern and changes quite a lot with the different lighting throughout the day which I didn’t know if I’d like but have to say it looks the business.- The speakers are remarkably good for what must be such a small unit. The point backwards so the sound bounces off the screen and at you which is a good solution.- The trackpad is huge and very accurate. Haptic feedback is also very good and means one fewer large moving part. There aren’t really any downsides to report, I will update this review if I find any but overall I’m very impressed. Let’s hope this one does the same 9 years as the MacBook Pro it replaces!

Excellent product
Decided to treat my self to a new MacBook Air as my old one was becoming a bit long in the tooth.after looking around I went for the 15" version with a 513Mb of SSD capacity.WOW what a difference to the old 13" version, this new M2 Apple chip seems to whizz things along with no delays and no hear plus it lasts well over a normal 12 our day of battery charge.Glad I went for the 15" screen as well as not only does it give you more space, but the larger keyboard area is more comfortable to rest your wrists on.I also run Windows 11 under parallels for specialist structural engineering software and using that along with Autocad and other programs, and it doesn't appear to phase the laptop at all.I am thoroughly impressed and would recommend one to anyone thinking of upgrading from an older Air. brilliant machine.

Brilliant
I've had a 2018 MacBook Air for the last few years and loved it. BUT, every now and again, when seeing others' laptops, I've realised how dinky the thing is (everyone in work has 15.6 inch Windows laptops). This 15 inch MacBook Air is fantastic. The screen is great (large and crisp)... battery life is faultless (after a full charge and not far off an hour's use, it's just dipped to 99%)... sound is full (speakers really are pretty decent)... and it just has the usual quality feel to it. Migrated over from old laptop within an hour or so, and all set to go. Can't fault.

Expensive but worth every penny
This laptop is great for everyday use and checks all the boxes expected for a laptop. Firstly the elephant in the room is the price, with it being a lot more than a lot of laptops but this one has a far better build quality and battery life. overall if you're thinking of getting this laptop then I would say yes if its within your budget!

A quality product that is expensive, but you know what you are buying
As with any and all Apple products, it is a considered purchase. If you are already bought into the Apple ecosystem then this will blend seamlessly into that; it works with the iMac, the iPad, iPhone and earbuds.I will say that 8Gb RAM should only be considered for ‘light work’ such as your typical Word, PowerPoint and Excel, plus any music software you choose, watching videos, etc. if you utilise iCloud then 128Gb disk space is adequate, if you do not use iCloud or not intend to purchase iCloud then 128Gb may not be big enough, and Apple charges too much for the 256Gb and 512Gb disk space increases. But if you have multiple Apple products you should be using iCloud to ensure your data is available on all devices wherever you are.The difference between this MacBook Air 15” to our previous 15” early Pro 2011 is the silent running, no fans or noise whatsoever. The speakers are much (much) improved, as are the microphones and cameras. I will say the screen is silky-smooth and of a very high quality; lovely brightness and details shine through in images and videos.PositivesApple ecosystem integration, nothing else competes.FeatherlightExcellent and bright screenTrackpadmacOSNegativesPrice for entryW365 does not offer all functionsIn summary, as with our other Apple products, this is built to last and will be in use for many years to come. For awareness our previous 2011 MacBook Pro’s fell prey to the failed motherboard problem after a decade of use. Have used MS Windows servers, PC’s and laptops for decades, my first MCP was for Windows 3.51 and NT, but have never had a windows PC or laptop last a decade. I use Windows professionally via the firms provided MS Surface, but much prefer Apple so use Apple personally. Horses for courses. You make your choice…

Geeat in every way -
Good battery life - great screen really like it !However it's Non standard usp connector & it would have been nice if apple supplied one with it so it could be used as soon as opened.
