Incredible! Got this for privacy while in the hot tub. I didn’t want to permanently put the post in so came up with some creative ideas

Gives privacy

Great product for the price. Works well to provide privacy from our neighbors while on our back deck. Light weight yet quality construction. Allows privacy when wanted and openness when retracted.Two Cons:1). Would be nice to have some openings in the material in case it left extended (open) and excessive wind comes. We kept ours as a privacy screen and forgot to retract it on a day with heavy wind. The fabric was fine but the bolts for the anchor bar pulled out of the PT wood it was secured to.2) It would also be nice to have it open at different lengths. We bought a 12 foot and sometimes we want it extended less than that. It’s either open or retracted. No in between.All in all, good quality product that does what it is intended to do.

The media could not be loaded. This privacy screen was exactly what we needed to block the direct evening sun on our new porch. Keeps the porch cooler and blocks the strong breeze from blowing out my citronella pest control torches. It also prevents fall leaves from blowing onto my porch. No more hot seat on my porch in the evenings.

Seems to work good as described except not providing privacy as it is supposed to. Sunny day or deck lights on at night you can see straight through from outside perspective. Might be ok for a cloudy day.

The curtain return is very strong, so if you might be opening a lot be sure to hang on. I built a rack to attach it to so I can adjust the width. I use it to hide my carport from the street. Works great.

Fits perfectly in my 12ft carport opening.Using as a temporary gargage door yo protect my car from sun and rain. Only complaints would be it has devolped a sag in the material at the top going side to side as there is nothing to keep the tension up to past the smaller pole the handle clicks in. The material is pot metal like and as expected the weld on the bottom of the smaller pole has devolped rust. I sprayed some silicone lube on it to try n extend the life. This will be the failing point

I love the way this awning works but , the instruction suck bad , I mean the concrete anchors did not have a drill bit size to use so I drilled the hole too big. I spent hours trying to figure how to achoring it down. Also the anchords are cheap dont use them buy your own with the right size drill bit to use. also the wood screws also didnt have a drill bit size to use so the plastic insert spun around and the screw could not be tighten. I had to drill new holes and use the screw without the plastic insert. Manufacture need to make better instruction for installation and better anchors.
