This is a great shaver - I travel often and it has always been handy in my toiletry kit. The shave isn't the closest I've ever had, but never nicks and gives me a clean and smooth look every time. It's easy to use and the battery life is great. Highly recommended!

I've been looking for a travel shaver for a while. Something that was small, rechargeable with usb-c, easy to clean, and gives me a close enough shave. This shaver checks all of these boxes.I don't have a lot of facial hair. I'm not a manly man that can grow a ZZ Top kind of beard, but I shave everyday to get rid of my 5 o'clock stubbles and I didn't want to carry around razors that cut me nor did I want to carry around my microphone size Norelco when I travel. So I wasn't expecting something spectacular, just something good enough when I'm on the go but man, was I surprised by this shaver. It shaves really close, much better than my Norelco. In fact this thing does so good and is so convenient that I use it as my main shaver even when I'm home. Haven't touched my Norelco since.I really like how it has the trimmer and foil setup. You basically run the shaver perpendicular to your face so that the trimmer cuts the longer hairs down and the foil gets the rest. Such an effective setup. Trimmer does a good job with squaring off side burns and the tiny hairs on the back of my head near my neck.Bottom line, this exceeded my expectations. I haven't run into any issues with battery not lasting since I don't shave for an hour at a time. I shave every morning for several minutes, so I just charge it at the end of the week and I like how I can use my phone charger to charge the shaver because of the usb-c. Super easy to clean, the head is removable so I run that through water.Highly recommended.

This is a beautifully compact shaver that does a nice job. It fits comfortably in my hand and is perfect for travel with its small size. Simple to operate.

I love the brand and what they provide, but my barber bought a cheaper version that works better. It doesn’t get as close as I’d like but it still is nice to have in between haircuts!

My life changed forever! Where has this been my whole life?! 44yo male seeks near perfect shave. Voilà enter the Manscape Handiman foil shaver!! So I was shopping for a new beard trimmer since my Panasonic (POS) adjustable beard trimmer took a permanent vacation in the dumpster. Man that thing worked well but battery life was sub 5 minutes and the adjustable comb was always moving in the middle of a beard butification project. Not cool. When the comb broke I excitedly looked for a replacement and the Manscape beard hedger appeared in a white glorious cloud touted with rave reviews. Before I even noticed it was in my cart and ready to bless my beard and make all my manly friends jealous. But wait. What is that handsome little handyman shaver doing paired up as an acceptable bundle package?! I must admit my pleasure with my current Norelco Razor was dismal and my curiosity was peaked. Sure, I’ll capitalize on this match made in heaven. I must admit, my expectations were low. 30 years ago on this day, my fathers foil shaver almost took off my face when that first sign of puberty struck with the sprout of a singular facial follicle erupted on my upper lip. It was an experience that traumatized me to my core and my fear of foil shavers was born. My hands trembled upon opening the Handyman packaging. It was beautiful but, would this Hanson little device devour my face and leave me scarred like Deadpool in a wake of trauma and terror? It took all my strength and courage to finally power the little beast to life and get it within range of my two day old stubble. In sheer shock and amazement I realized my fear was stale and unnecessary. The Handyman took on my stubborn and often ingrown beard hairs like a Chinese ninja with the precision and smoothness of only the worlds most deadly and sharp katana sword. I was utterly speechless. It devastated those angry hairs and vanished and resemblance of unwanted facial hairs. Spectacular. Seriously though. I haven’t had this close of a shave with an electric razor in my lifetime. It was fast, smooth as butter and as perfect as you can get with electric. The double sided device with a trimmer on the other side is pure genius and the fact you can charge with a usb c is gold. It fits perfectly in my travel kit like it was made to be there where as my Norelco would not. I’m in love. Oh and the beard hedger is freaking awesome too!!

Best shaver. Ever. Used it for nearly six months. It is faster, and smoother then the top of the line Norelco collecting dust in the closet.This is my everyday shaver.

UPDATE: After my review, Manscaped reached out, apologized, offered to resolve this, and issued a full refund. To be clear, I DID NOT ASK FOR A REFUND. I tossed in the garbage last week when the lid broke and stand by my comments below. I was suckered into the hype. Manscaped had good marketing and I saw relatively good reviews on this product. However, $80 later and all I have is regret. Let's put it this way, you can do twice as better at half the priice.First off, the shaver gives a HORRIBLE shave. It effectively leaves a light stubble which is nowhere as good as my old Braun shaver. It's not a close shave at all. I bought it to use for travel and eventually just purchased a cheap Bic razor and some cream because it wasn't up to snuff.Next, the trimmer is surprisingly weak. It's pathetic when trimming my beard. It barely cut the hair and while I do like it for basic beard grooming, it's not good for close trims. I have a $20 Philips beard trimmer that I've had for years that does a better job but is just a bit big to carry.Last, it's fragile. The razor mechanism pops off constantly. The "clever" slide off cover has already been broken when it fell off the top and hit the tile floor. It's just cheap and disappointing considering the large price you pay.
