My first crochet ever, and it turned out pretty well! The instructions go slowly step by step which is helpful for visual learners. Only downside is that the thread easily comes apart which is harder for beginners to deal with, so you should try to keep tension while holding the string in your left hand to prevent that.

They were bought as a gift for my sister. She loves these kits! They have everything you need to make these adorable creations. Easy to follow instructions, even a video for those of us who learn visually!

If you know what you are doing then great, it’ll work for you, but if you don’t. Please do not waste your time or money on it.Putting four stars bc it’s difficult to understand.

This was actually one of the more difficult crochet kits I have tried. I wouldn't think this is for a beginner, however I did it and I consider myself a beginner. It was just very hard to understand some of the joining areas. I just winged it in some areas and went for it. It is not perfect, but it looks good from a distance. It is quite large as well. Not like other kits I have use and are hand sized or able to be hung from a key chain. This flamingo is like a small doll size. I still enjoyed myself and the kit had everything I needed to complete it.

Direction make no sence and it's still sitting in on the shelf about the throw it out. Definitely not for a newbie.

This was my first time ever crocheting and I felt like it was really easy to follow the pattern. I watched and followed the YouTube tutorials and it was easier for me since I learn by watching.100% recommended if you want to try something new :)It is a perfect gift too.

Love these! Came out great! Not for a beginner though, you need to know how to crochet already and more than the basics.
