The quality of the product is excellent and like others have noted, it includes everything needed for installation. Instructions are not great but it is so easy to install that you likely won't need instructions. The YouTube video mentioned in the instructions is a must if you want to use more than one camera.I ended up cutting the monitor bracket so it would fit in the dash cutout on my Ram 2500 and I could not be more happy with the custom looking install. I also hard-wired the camera to the lighter rather than having the power cord dangling on my dash. My camper is a 34' Toy Hauler and I mounted the camera under the bumper and tapped into the license plate light. This means I have to tow with my lights on but I usually do that anyway and I did not want to drill into any paneling. Even being mounted that low, the picture quality is superb with the small antennas provided and it seriously only took 15 minutes to install the camera.Customer service is excellent. Just like the description states, if you need a windshield mount, Furrion adapter or a second camera, just email them and ask. I have already received the Furrion adapter and windshield mount. The second camera and another monitor bracket (since I cut mine in half & would like a backup in case I decide to change where it is mounted) are on their way to me now.Based on reviews I was expecting a decent product but it has greatly exceeded my expectations. The picture quality is seriously excellent and I am very impressed with the overall craftsmanship of the entire kit. The added benefit on SD card support for recording is another bonus and I will likely use the 2nd camera as a dash camera if I can find a discrete location to mount it. Do not hesitate to purchase this kit. Based on my experience with the company, I have no doubt they would quickly refund your purchase price if you are not satisfied, however, if yours works like mine, I'm skeptical that would happen.***Update 09/16/2022***Since it has been three years since I installed this system I figured I would give an update and say that it is still working flawlessly. I have not had a single problem with this system and would still give it 5 stars today. I will note that the product pictures today appear to be slightly different than what I have. I assume that is just a design change so as long as the underlying hardware and software are unchanged, this should still be a very solid purchase.*** Last Update 09/23/2023 ***This is my last update for this product because I recently swapped out my stock head unit/radio with an aftermarket system which prevents me from using this product due to how I had it mounted (essentially, I can no longer mount the monitor directly above my head unit & I don't want this large monitor attached to my windshield) so, I will no longer be using this unit.With that said, I just wanted to point out that I used this unit for just shy of 4-years and never had a single issue, it was still working perfectly when I removed it. I plan to box this up 'just in case' or maybe even give it to someone I know who may need it since this unit has been great. I am not getting rid of it because of any issues, I am only getting away from it because I wanted a different head unit.*** 12/24/2023 ***I lied when I said I was done posting updates for this product. The replacement I had planned for this didn't work out as expected so I am still using this awesome backup camera. IMO this unit does not work well with a windshield mount since, due to the size, it inevitably ends up being very much in your field of vision. Therefore, I used two magnetic cell phone mounts to install this directly onto my dash, which also allows me to simply toss it on the dash when needed and stow it in my console when not needed. I used these magnets (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07JFGJMJW/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&th=1) which are working very well (metal disks attached to the dash and magnets attached to the base of the camera). Because I had already hard wired my camera, I routed the wiring into my glove box where it is out of sight when not in use then, when needed I just pull it out and have a short run to the camera, while the glove box still easily closes on the wire.Anyway, two points I am making. One, this camera continues to perform perfectly and two, be willing to think outside the box when it comes to mounting solutions since the supplied mounts just may not work well for your application.*** 5-year update, 10/01/2024 ***Okay, I am a couple of weeks shy of 5-years but close enough. In any case, I traded my 2017 Ram 2500 in for a 2024 Ram 3500 back in February and while the new truck has a ton of options, it does not have the package for the trailer camera, therefore, my use of this camera has continued with the same excellent results. I am now using the camera with this mount (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0CPSKP8NG) connected to this holder (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0CPSKP8NG) and it is excellent. While the "holder" is universal, the mount is specific to certain Ram trucks and I also had to use some double-sided tape on the "holder" to prevent the camera from vibrating out while driving.Anyway, this camera just keeps on ticking, providing excellent video while I am towing and more importantly, while back into dispersed camp sites surrounded by tons of trees. Again, this camera has undergone some changes since I purchased it but hopefully, it continues to function as well as mine has for 5-years.

This is a fantastic camera that works perfectly for our 36 ft toy hauler travel trailer! My trailer was pre-wired for the Furrion camera system, which costs $500 to $800. The DoHonest S21 is essentially the same thing for $150.I contacted DoHonest to request the free Furrion adapter bracket and pigtail wire. They asked what year my trailer was (2021) and it was on my doorstep 2 days later! The pigtail wire connects to the Furrion wire stubbed out at the mount location. I taped the connection with electric tape to keep it from vibrating loose. I had to grind down one corner of the Furrion mounting bracket adapter about 1/16 of an inch (easily done with a metal file) and it bolted up to the Furrion mount perfectly. Again, I folded and taped the excess wire so it wasn’t dangling loose. Camera installation pictures are attached.I then mounted the monitor to my dash with the 3M double sided mounting strips. 2 types of base mounts are included to suit your needs. The cigarette lighter plug has a button on it to turn the monitor on, so you can leave it plugged in all the time. I connected the trailer to the truck and fired up the truck, turned the monitor on, and it paired with the camera immediately, showing the camera view on the screen. I had zero issues with installation other than filing a corner of the camera mounting bracket for about 20 seconds.All parts are high quality, picture quality is great, and night vision worked well. I am very pleased with this camera system and would recommend to anyone! I would honestly say this is one of my top Amazon purchases.

I was hesitant to buy a wireless camera for my travel trailer but reading the reviews on this Dohonest kit I decided to try it.The setup was actually very simple, with just one camera it's already paired, so using the included test adapter, the monitor recognized the camera right away. Camera install was fairly simple. My trailer has 3 running lights top middle so I just removed the middle light and attached the camera there. Used a multimeter to determine +/- tested the connection again before attaching the camera mount. I put caulk on the back side of the mount before screwing it in place, then attached the camera and fed the excess cable back into the hole, then covered the top and sides with caulk and over the hole and cable. Probably a better method of doing that than I did, but it worked.For the mount, I emailed DoHonest support asking where to get a suction cup mount because I didn't want the monitor on the dash, they emailed me a link to the product on Amazon, it fits well just under my rear view mirror.My tow vehicle and trailer are right at 52 feet, the video works pretty well, there are times when the frame rate is a little low, not sure if that's because the length is right at the max they list or if it's the camera itself but the video is still very usable for seeing what's behind you as you drive. I emailed support again asking how to get a booster antenna mentioned in the owners manual so I'll see if that changes when I have that installed, but even without that I'm very happy with the camera and monitor.UPDATE: I received the booster antenna and it cleaned up the video quality.If your vehicle is at 50 ft or more it would be beneficial to use the antenna.Originally I wanted to see the rear bumper in the bottom of the video but with the camera that high then the camera would need to be aimed way down and I want to see more of the road behind me than that so I opted for setting an object at the closest marker in the lane marker lines and measuring the distance from there to my bumper so I know how much space I have left before I hit something. Later I may add another camera just for that purpose.Also, DoHonest support is very responsive, I received a reply within one day of my email, and true to the description, they are sending me a second camera for free. The manual offers a choice of some items, I chose the camera because I plan to add 3 for the total of 4 that the monitor will handle.I have not had opportunity yet to use the night vision so I didn't rate it.The image and build quality is very good, with great support, I definitely recommend this product.

I wanted to wait for a while and use this before writing a review.. Just to make sure it works and it lasts.. The quality of this product is tops.. We've tested out other systems and many were just crap to be honest.We have a full car length and a trailer behind the car. I wanted to use this as a rear view mirror system so I can see behind me while travelling on the road. There is nearly zero lag in the video that comes in and it never drops out. I'm definitely happy I spent the extra money to get this kit and wouldn't go with another brand in the future if I ever need another setup like this..The monitor is big and easy to see.. There are multiple ways to mount it in the car. I decided to go off the windscreen, but set it low enough so it touches the dash, due to the weight of the screen. Haven't had any problems with it coming off the windscreen while driving, which is a bonus..Easy setup with just the power wire in the back and the cig lighter in the front.Definitely worth the money..
