WORKS VERY VERY WELL! Inexpensive and displays two PCs and the HDMI output from two media decoders. GREAT for confidence monitoring, where you don't really need a dedicated full sized monitor just to check that you have a feed.

I needed a 4K multiviewer to watch data channels and tracker data for F1 races. This box allows pretty much all combinations of screen outputs from 1,2,3 or 4 screens which is independent on each output. Picture quality is great with no noticeable difference or lag from direct display.Several people have commented on no HDR support and I can confirm this - the two YouTube stats for nerds images from my 4K max fire stick show BT709 with the multiviewer vs full BT2020 direct. However, with this limitation, and the poor quality remote, the unit itself is really very flexible and functional. I saw a comment about stretched images but you can select 16:9 to correct this (see example images in full or 16:9 modes). To switch which hdmi input is the main screen, you need to go into the menu opts for that output, but it can be done (see menu image).Audio can be muted or selected from any feed or each output.For the price, this is excellent and only the lack of HDR is missing. However, HDR units seem to be many hundreds of dollars more. I would recommend.

I got this for use as a quad split screen generator, and it works great for that.But that is the only good use case, other than as a simple selector switch, because all of the other multi-view modes are, unfortunately, not useful, apparently a result of someone designing a feature because they can and not because they should. All of the other modes stretch and skew the video from at least some of the sources, distorting the aspect ratio and making the end result unwatchable.But the quad is great, and a good value.It does place a small white border strip between the 4 lanes of the quad, which my other quad generator doesn't, but I think I like it with the border.

I recently installed a video wall controller for four TVs, and I must say, it's been a fantastic experience so far! I purchased four budget-friendly 55-inch TVs with the smallest bezels I could find from Sam's Club. It’s only been but a few days but, I am thoroughly impressed. The controller worked seamlessly right out of the box; I didn't even have to adjust the screen stretch options as everything lined up perfectly.

The device seems to be good for what the manufacturer intended it to do, however the limitations were not clearly defined in the description and fell too far short of my needs to justify the cost.I was counting on this device to provide 4 1080p displays on a single 4k monitor, but that is not the case. The device only transmits a combined signal of 1080p to the monitor, which results in each of the 4 sections being only 960x540 resolution. Picture quality was pretty bad but still tolerable on a 27" monitor, but an overwhelming majority of text was completely illegible because improper scaling/missing pixels. Oddly, the device briefly displays "1920x1080" in the corner of all four sections when you toggle through the display options. This made troubleshooting the poor quality frustrating, as the monitor said it was only receiving a 1080p signal (should be 4k if each of the four was 1080p).If I were looking for a device that performs this way I probably would have kept it and rated it higher. However, the deceptive item description should be clearer and not reference "4k" that under a closer look appears to be for other products the company makes.

I've used other similar units. This one gives me good video in 4-up mode which others haven't. Using the remote control allows easier access to some functions versus using the button on the unit. After using the initial unit for a few weeks I purchased a second for a different purpose to replace a standard HDMI switch.

Orei HD-401MV is the muti-viewer that i have been searching for. It's the only one that has a full screen dual mode. The remote is color coded and has easy to see buttons. Also, its easy to operate. It's GREAT!!!

Switches viewing modes instantly and let's me choose witch audio source I want to hear even in quad screen mode. For $40 absolutely can't beat it.
