This works. However, we have found the controls challenging at times. Once you press on a command it is not easy to stop it or change it after it gets started. Human error is what it is, so we've found we make mistakes and then it gets stuck in the mode it's in. Overall, we're not thrilled.

Over my whole life I’ve been a purist about cooking with just my trusty rusty iron skillet. I’ve always thought the only way to cook to the best of my ability was with the oven. I use every feature, broiler, roaster, I’m a baker, a pizza stone user, a wok user, I’ve got a pan for everything, and I season my skillets after every use. Not a drop of soap has touched them for 30 years. But last year I got an instant pot and now this air fryer. I guess I gave in to all my friends saying how great they are. And now I get it! This air fryer is a remarkable time saver and with the cost of olive oil rising steadily, I’m thinking this will save on how much I use every day. The basket holds a lot, and I can crisp up things faster than with the broiler, and with much less babying, turning, rotating, checking. The appliance itself is very large, so I’m not going to let it live on my countertop, but can just put it away when not using. It’s not so hard to clean. I’ve got a few T-Fal brand things around the kitchen already, so it’s a brand I know and trust. I have to say that the controls are very easy to understand and operate, which is great because I don’t like to read a whole manual just to get started. The back of it gets hot so I pull it out from under my cabinets so as not to warp the undersides of the wood. We eat a lot of breaded patties and fries and roasted veggies that are now crispier and faster to make. I’m really looking forward to seeing what else I can do with this wonder machine! I’m so impressed, T-Fal!

This T-fal air fryer works excellent for French fries, tater tots and so many other things I haven't tried yet. Looking forward to experimenting with this air fryer. Excellent deal for a appliance that is gonna be around for a long while!

Doesn’t cook anything. Only goes up to 200c and a piece of chicken takes 30 minutes to cook. I’m not exaggerating. I had an old silver crust fryer that would cook chicken in 15 minutes. This thing is trash.

I got this for my parents, who kept buying "fancy" gimmick versions of air fryers that they (and I) hated. I kept saying this kind was the way to go, but they were turned off and frustrated. This one is perfect. It's got a smaller footprint, is from a brand known to do appliances well, and is very easy. I'm coaxing them into it but I can tell that once the trauma of those other behemoth disasters (who makes an open back fryer that flips up?? Grease everywhere!) they'll use it often and love it. It's super quiet, easy to clean, and cooks beautifully. Fantastic air fryer, especially for a retired couple.
