So nice
Took forever to assemble. 6 hours for the bottom about 4 hours for the top. Me and my mother did it together. I’m very happy with it. Fairly sturdy. Definitely not full wood, but looks very nice. Great price. Directions are slightly off, but it was easy to figure out. The drawer slides are not the exact ones in the directions and the holes didn’t match up, so the drawers push way far back. It’s not a big deal. Over all very nice for the price. I was surprised it arrived with no damage. Grab some extra wood glue at the store prior to assembly.

Awesome desk
This was a gift for my husband when our tax return came in. He had been using an old kitchen table for his desk setup for years and always complained about wanting something nice. We went to many antique stores and eventually gave up because we couldn't find ANY desks. Finally, I found this and he loves it.There's plenty of space for desk organizers, a gaming rig, and loads of shelves for books or knickknacks or whatever else your heart desires. It's large, spacious and sturdy but do be aware it's a bear and a half to put together and you WILL want to buy more wood glue if you glue all your pegs like we did for additional support.

File drawer is 11-1/2 by 10
The desk is solid and fairly straightforward. Good storage space and true to color depicted on Amazon. Just one issue but for us it is pretty significant: The drawers are not very deep/long. They measure just 11-1/2” in length and 10” wide. The file drawer (lower right) is mainly where this is a problem for us. A typical file folder system has to be compacted to fit and forget about a hanging file set up. Not sure why they made the drawers so shallow — if they were the depth of the desk itself, it would have much better functionality. The cabinet (lower left) is the full depth of the desk itself — — 20”. Read the drawer sizes carefully — depending on your needs, it may or may not work for you. Otherwise the desk is very solid.

Looks great
I was surprised to see how beautiful this desk looks in my home office. I had my handyman put it together and it seemed like it was easy to do.

Great desk
I read a lot of reviews before purchasing this desk, and the one thing that was consistent was that it takes a long time to assemble. They did not lie!! That said, the instructions were great in my opinion, and it’s a beautiful, solid desk. Very sturdy. I’m satisfied with my purchase!

Item received damaged! $50 more to replace!!!
Item received with a little damage to box. It was taped up with a few holes. Upon opening box contents were in disarray. Packing was crumbled, shredded, and all over. Parts were just thrown in box and had damage. I could not exchange. Could only refund or keep with partial credit. Originally paid around $450 including tax. To replace item, it is now $500 including tax. I am paying an extra $50 for reviving a damaged product!!!

Work with no distractions
Surprisingly satisfied with the end product. I've spent 20+ years as an aviation mechanic and now as a Quality Engineer. It took me 2 days with approximately 4 hours each day (8hrs total) with several interruptions from my 4 year old wanting to help... if not for that I probably could have completed in 6hrs by myself. You need 2 people to lift the top on the desk... trust me.The instructions say don't use a power tool like a drill... if you have a good one with different settings use it or don't. I chose to use mine at the 3 lowest power settings, no issues. With that said packaging was a little banged up but everything seemed to be in good order and there's a ton of pieces to sift through. I find they don't provide enough glue for the dowel pins, so if you have some wood glue handy use it. This is probably the most time consuming part of the build. The fasteners they provide don't all necessarily fit flush with the wood and the stickers they provide to cover it don't stay in place long and will also not sit flush on fasteners that are not flush. Also, the items are dirty like industrial dust and smell like a sweat factory.I've seen a video of someone saying they couldn't install the drawers because missing sliders, that individual doesn't understand what they were doing. Even though the instructions say to peice those sliders together they actually come attached to eachother which can be confusing, meaning you have to seperate the 2 halves first by pushing on the tab. 1 goes on the drawer and the other in the desk. You can actually see this in the video of both halves installed on desk side only and the guy doesn't understand what he has to do. These are the negatives that come to mind a month later.Took a bucket of warm water and detergent with a wrung out wash cloth and cleaned unit. Everything went together with relative ease. It just takes a little time at certain points and you must closely observe the pictures to understand what you're to do. Overall the negatives are minor and I like the look and functionality of the desk, it's worth the time and money.
