A more simple, yet elegant, build with great little details.
Everything about the set is on par with the more expensive brand. Packaging, brick quality, design, and instructions are all very well done. There is so much detail packed into this set at a bargain price point. The included LED lights work to perfectly accent the set. There is a ton a detail packed into the set. The art plates/stickers are reproductions are not redesigned with brick art, so it feels very authentic. There are miniature gargoyles and statues that line the walls and it a simplified replica of the real thing. Some of the most famous pieces on display are represented here, and the lights give it a real art gallery feel. This is a great addition to the collection of anyone who enjoys more architectural brick sets, and while it does require some time to build it is well worth it. I say invest in some kind of bookmark and step marker.

Great set!
This really is a very interesting set. I wish it had some historical info included, but a internet search will quickly reveal all you want to know about the artwork and sculptures displayed. The instructions are very clear and easy to follow. In fact, I would say this is one of the best instruction manuals I have seen. I am glad they didn't skimp on paper by combining steps or making things too small. It also helps that the bricks are mostly light colored so they are extra easy to see in the descriptions. Each numbered bag (which includes many bags) will take care of one level. "Bag 1" is the first floor, 2 the second, 3 the third, 4 the roof and 5 the pyramid. At first I felt like that was too many bricks to manage at a time, but because the structure is symmetrical and repetitive, it goes by pretty quick. The quality of the bricks is good. Not quite Lego brand name quality(no off brands are), but they work well. I enjoyed the attention to detail and creative ways of making some of the things. The gargoyles are probably my favorite part. For the most part, this was a fun and relaxing build. The design is well done and interesting. However, there were a few parts that were a bit frustrating. When assembling the bottom, there are a lot of large base plates involved. Even in brand name Lego bricks, sticking together large base plates gets tough. I did end up using a lego mallet tool to get them together, and that helped. While it looked slightly bowed, it didn't interfere with the final build, so it all worked out ok. There are also a few times where a big assembled part is added to the main structure-like the roof or pyramid. Sometimes this was hard to assemble, and when the pyramid falls apart the only thing for it is to start right back at the beginning. No shortcuts work there. The lights are really great! I love that this set includes lights instead of having to buy them extra. It really enhances the appearance from the front or back, and they are fun to put on. There is an led light strip along each of the levels and a few light bricks in the top, pyramid and lanterns.Another feature that adds a lot to this build is the stickers. Most are done at the end, but a few are done in the middle (like the paintings). These were fun and easy to do, even for kids. One thing to note is that there are no extra pieces. Many sets have a few extra pieces, especially the little pieces. Not the case here, so make sure you don't lose any or you'll be in trouble. All in all, this is a great build with lots of historical and educational value. I would recommend it.

Love it but some Pieces don’t fit
The media could not be loaded. I am re writing my review. I initially gave 2 stars as some pieces didn’t fit but after some help it was all done and it was beautiful. I wish the pieces fit more easily. But overall it’s a very nice set.

Very fun and beautiful.
Very fun and beautiful. My wife and I normally do jigsaw puzzles, but decided to try new challenges, so we got this lego kit.At first 1352 pieces sounded a bit daunting. We opened the box to discover all the pieces neatly sorted into separate bags already. Already a good start compared to Jigsaw puzzles. The instructions are amazing. Clear diagrams of every step along the way. Really helpful for these old eyes.Assembly went very smoothly. The addition of the lighting make for a nice decorative piece in the evenings. We love it.

Pieces were missing
Pieces missing, parts don’t fit together well. Lights worked half way. Def not LEGO. You get what you pay for!

Lots of missing parts
PRO: fairly good design, easy to assemble, good quality instruction brochure, competitive pricing.CONS: lots of missing parts that requires exchange of emails with the retailer/manufacturer residing out of USA (I assume, based on the language skills and production location)This severely impedes a 9-year old eager to work on this project, and doesn't provide trust in the product. To resume: pay more and purchase LEGO brand.

This is a fun time build, Lego compatible set, with multi level lighting!3 floors and a dome top, all with lighting, and has lighting for the pyramid and lamps!Easy to assemble, simplified directions and labeled bags make this easy and entertaining. Bags labeled by step, so you aren't rummaging through unnecessary pieces looking for what you need.Large and detailed, worth it if you enjoy Lego sets.Highly recommended!

FANTASTIC!
Sorry, no pictures, but this thing is phenomenal!! It's a grand set that looks amazing on display. If you're a fan of architecture or building bricks in general, this is a great find! The price per brick is great from a cost perspective, if you're looking to just get this to increase your parts inventory, that assumes you don't fall in love with the building and model itself. It makes for an AMAZING gift if you wanted give it out and not keep it for yourself ;) The pieces are compatible with other major brands of building brick and easy to read instructions. Younger builders may struggle but older and more advanced builders will be fine.Overall, I would HIGHLY recommend this set for advanced or anyone looking to return to the hobby. The quality of the box and the speed it arrived make for great gift options. And with the compatibility this model will fit into any collection.Happy Building :)
