Fast 1 second or so read speed. This is faster than some cheap thermometers, and the fact that this is so inexpensive is a good deal for the technology that it has. The display is quite right and battery seems to be okay. I wished that it was possible to rotate the probe 270° so that you can use it both left and right handed.

The description is written in English, but all the attached photos are in Spanish (probably, since I don’t read Spanish) which is a little confusing. Looking at the reviews listed for this thermometer, there are none fron the United States, They are all listed as: “Top reviews from other countries” and were supplied as: “Vine Customer Review of Free Product” which is what I am, but in the United States. This thermometer appears to be very similar in its’ appearance to another digital thermometer I have recently received and reviewed and is IP67 waterproof which is a real plus. There was no further description as most other products have titled: “About this item”, just blank space which I found to be unusual. The vendor may make changes to their display as times goes by.The reference to it being a “Super Fast Food Thermometer Probe” seems a little off since there are so many Instant Read Thermometers out there that are less than a second for a lot less money. The clip or latch that holds the probe in is a pain, it is very awkward to remove the probe when you want to use it. I would end up removing or filing it down to the point where it open easily as the manufacturer should have done. Overall, it is a very nice looking

This looks great and all but it's off by 30 degrees.

Hasn't broke, foods been cooked to temp. It sticks to my fridge. Cleans easy. Not a bad pick. However it doesn't out shine other brands.

I ordered this waterproof digital thermometer to replace for my very expensive thermometer has been starting to act a little bit wonky. I was excited to try one that will meet my needs and appeared to be good quality.This thermometer feels sturdy and is easy to read. Instant read is true to its description and the temperature change is shown quickly. I was able to use it to check the temperature of water that I needed for my sourdough bread dough and then again to check the temperature of my finished loaf, where I wanted a temperature of about 210°F. I compared at the same time with my old thermometer and the results were quite similar.The only problem was when I inserted the probe in boiling water. My old thermometer came to 212° F immediately, but this thermometer never got past 195°F. However, the other results make me confident of the readings I am getting.I like that the back of the thermometer is magnetic so I can attach it to the side of my over-the-range microwave for quick and easy access. The description also mentions a loop for hanging, but that doesn’t exist. I appreciate that it takes an easy to replace AAA battery (included) instead of a specific button battery.
