Well Built For BIG Fish
I thought it was going to be a "folding" net, but it is not. Instead, you remove the telescoping handle from the socket on the hoop, flip it around, then reinsert. I like this design far more than the hinged type of folding nets. The hinge always seems to be the weak point and the first part to fail on those. This design is more rigid, I like it. The aluminum construction is sturdy, relatively lightweight, and has a nice glossy black finish. The extension feature is pretty smooth. The threaded sleeve could benefit from some knurling for grip but it's not a deal breaker. The rubber net bag is of the same quality you find on more expensive nets and it is deeeeep. I haven't landed a double digit lunker in it yet but I'm confident that it can handle one. Perfect for use as a guide net whether boating or wading. The price is right so you don't have to worry about scratching it up or throwing it into the back of the truck. It's a 5-star net in my book.

Very compact when collapsed
I ordered this landing net to land big, heavy fish. This kind of net was what I was looking for. It is (1) large enough to land fish that weigh in the double digits, (2) it has the rubberized netting that is safer for fish in general, and (3) it doesn’t take up too much space when not being used. I like the reach of this net as it is nearly 5 ft long from tip to tip when fully extended. I also like the fact that rubber nets have fewer tangles and are easier to clean. The product information says it can land fish up to 18 pounds when fully extended and 28 pounds when not extended. It also says you can land fish up to 50 pounds if you lift everything by the frame instead of the handle. I have taken this net to the lake but have not landed any fish in the double digits (weight) yet. Overall, I am satisfied with this net and look forward to actually landing big fish with it.

It’s ok
True to the dimensions in the ad but it looked bigger in the pictures. The netting material itself is quite good. It feels strong and I much prefer rubber over string type netting as it’s better for the fish. The paint finish on the frame and handle of the net scratches easily but still should hold up. I will use this net on our little lake boat for trout and bass but it’s too small for our big boat when fishing for salmon. Overall it’s an OK net.

Heavy net
The firm cords of the net shrug off rocks and dry extremely quick. This was the fastest to clean net I have every stuck in mud! It does weigh a lot more than expected, though. The old cloth net was faster on the scoop and caught chicken as fast as scooping up fish. This has a bit more force with the added weight that makes using it to scoop chicken a bit more of a skill to not harm the birds. But the angrier the yard raptor, the nicer this is over the other nets. They calm down very quickly with the heavier net.A solid get for a fishing supply or yard control.

Big, but yet compact!
This net checked all the boxes for me. Its true to the advertised size, has an easy functioning telescopic handle, and a flexible rubber basket. This style of net works much better than the old string type, as the netting doesnt get tangled up. Although this net will accommodate huge fish its not rated for alot of weight, so if your pulling in lunker catfish you might need something different.

Good for multi species.
This net is spacious and effective for catching various fish species, including carp, catfish, and largemouth bass. The coated netting minimizes hook snagging and prevents damage to the captured fish. The collapsible handle facilitates convenient transportation and storage. Overall, it offers exceptional quality at a competitive price.

nice-high quality
This is a really nice high quality fishing net. It is long enough to get in the water from our deep hull boat but also folds up and doesn't take up much space while in use. Net is thick, well tied and this should last through many seasons.
