Small enough to fit yet big enough to work
I love it! It fits my old tower pc, a large keyboard and mouse, and still has enough room to hold other things. Great for the price! Sturdy and easy to build! Highly recommended to anyone like me who loves to write but has limited space.

nice computer desk
I have gotten along with using a tray table for over five years with my laptop. I have been happy with that until I adopted a kitten and she thought that the computer was hers. I have gone through three power cords and after the last purchase I knew the tray table was not an option.I spent three days trying to figure out what one to get. I read every one of the reviews on this model and four others. The selling point for me on this one, the size. I wanted one that did not take up much space. I wanted to have this in my small bedroom where space is at a premium. The instructions that came with this are good and I am thankful that I read them three times before getting this started ( while trying to assemble this on my living room floor, busy with getting the legs put on the small back board I heard some paper being chewed. I was hoping it was not the instructions but could not let go and see. Sure enough the kitten got them and chewed them up into small strips). With the instructions gone the only part that I was not sure of was the pull out keyboard (flat part in the back or front). I put the flat part on the back and the rounded part towards me. It moves freely and has a squeak sound when pulling it in or out. This seems like it is made good and sturdy, I have some heavy stuff placed on the bottom shelf and no signs of stress. I inspected all the parts and each one was in perfect shape. If I can find room for one more I will purchase another for the hubby.I have room for the laptop and my coffee and a pencil holder with room to spare on the top. It is a great computer desk and is serving its purpose very well .I am using a wooden chair that I had my dad saw the legs off for me five years ago and fits perfect ( I needed a chair that my feet could touch the floor, I am short ).

For the price, a small but excellent computer desk.
The media could not be loaded. I decided I wanted to move my PC to the livingroom, but there is VERY little space there for another piece of furniture. I decided that, if I could find a desk that would fit in the 29" space along the first section of my breakfast bar, I'd do it. This desk came up in my search and, sure enough, it fits in that space!Assembly was a snap. I assembled the desk by myself in maybe 30 minutes. The instructions were clear (and I've had some humdingers this past year, so it was a blessing to have clear, simple instructions for a change). The only downside is that every screw but the 4 used for the keyboard tray use one of those provided hex wrenches, or whatever you call them (see the hardware shot in my video). It makes assembly SO much slower than being able to use a power screwdriver.Another thing I really liked about the assembly process is that the screws tightened very well and the finished desk is quite sturdy! I have not found this to be true of some other products that were inexpensive, so that was a bonus! There is one important wrinkle to the assembly: if you assemble the keyboard tray as instructed, you will NOT be able to pull the tray out all the way and therefore will NOT have full view of your keyboard. I was alerted to this in the reviews, so I knew to watch out for it. Sure enough, when I was preparing to complete assembly by adding 4 small screws to hold in the keyboard tray, I quickly saw that this was not going to be acceptable for me. Since the tray fits quite security into the sliding mechanism, and since my keyboard tray is wireless and lightweight, I decided to just place the tray in the sliding mechanism and see if I could get away with NO screws. I'm not going to say this is the solution for EVERYONE, but it has worked very well for me. I haven't had a single problem thus far (almost 2 weeks). The other option I considered was to drill new holes in the tray that would allow it to pull out further than the original holes. If I have to, I'll do that. However, the tray appears to be made of some sort of composite and I know from experience that can be tough to drill through precisely, at least for me as I don't have a great deal of upper body strength or grip strength when using a drill.Speaking of the keyboard tray, I found it JUST big enough to house both my wireless keyboard and my wireless mouse. There isn't a lot room for the mouse to roam, but it has been adequate for me thus far. Also, you probably won't be able to fit a standard mouse pad in there. As for the desk size, well, it is small...much smaller than I'm used to...but I'm making it work. I have a Dell all-in-one PC where the hard drive and everything is housed inside the monitor. The monitor takes up three-quarters of the width of the desk's top. I was just barely able to squeeze in a little mail organizer next to the monitor where I keep my bills and such. In front of the monitor, I have room for a desk calendar, my phone, a notepad, a pencil cup and my water bottle.I really am enjoying my new desk. I took off three quarters of a star for the keyboard tray not pulling all the way out when installed by the directions, because that can make a HUGE difference in how one might enjoy (or not enjoy) this desk.4.25 stars.

Just What I was Looking For
After reading the reviews, I was a little hesitant to order this desk, especially since the white one cost more than the black, but I'm really glad I bought it. This little desk was so easy to put together. It was, however, missing one of the holes in the metal side to screw the back piece on. The hole was just not punched all the way through, so with an awl and a hammer, it was easy to punch out. The directions were easy to follow and I put it together in just under 30 minutes by myself and I have back and neck issues! The color white is so nice, it's a soft white with wood grain in the MDF to make it look like real oak. Once together, this desk is really sturdy. I have had no issues with it shaking or vibrating and I have a printer on the bottom. Others have mentioned that the keyboard tray doesn't go in and out smoothly, and I have to agree with that, but I think over time it will loosen up. My compact keyboard and mouse fit on the tray just fine, and although the tray doesn't come all the way out, it's perfectly fine for me as I have full access to my keyboard. I was replacing a much larger desk and was afraid this wouldn't be big enough, but it has so much room I have a 19 inch monitor and a desktop accessory organizer on the top with enough room to have a large writing surface. The bottom holds my large printer and compact trash can. Plenty of room for everything! Couldn't be more pleased. Highly recommend.

UNFORTUNATE
This was exactly what I had been looking for. Size, colour and not too difficult to put together. Unfortunately, the keyboard shelf feel apart the first time I used it and can't be fixed. To take this apart and return it would not be worth it, so I'm using it without the slide out keyboard shelf.

Excelente
