All pieces were in good condition.
I expected the parabolic dishes to have an outside internal chrome surface to focus the reflected light. The units are actually clear and solid.The change in medium, air to plastic, seems to have a somewhat ok reflection coefficient, but not as well as super shiny interior surface...oh well...you get what ya pay for. Still, a highly focused light beam was achieved when I used a surface mounted 1/2 watt LED at the focus point.

Not appropriate for an image projection -- but appropriate for throwing light in a single direction.
I was thinking that I would use this to project a batman symbol to a wall from a small LED lamp. The light was not collimated enough to cleanly create an image. I eventually went with the pin-hole camera technique to create a focal point of light that could cleanly project the silhouette.Tried 5mm LED, 3mmLED, SMD LED.

Attached them to a ten watt LED with RTV and they work fine.
Used one lens already. Plan to experiment with automotive lighting with some of the others. Attached them to a ten watt LED with RTV and they work fine.
