Anthony Browne is a British writer and illustrator of children's books. He has won numerous awards for his work, including the Kate Greenaway Medal, the Hans Christian Andersen Award, and the international Bologna Ragazzi Award. Browne's books are known for their surreal and darkly humorous illustrations, and have been translated into over 30 languages.
