Saved money and got a great phone!
I had an entry-level Samsung Galaxy Express 3 that was always running out of memory, even though I had a substantial micro SD card in it for extra memory. I am very pleased with the refurbished Google Pixel 3a (64 GB, clearly white) that I bought on Amazon. There wasn't a mark or scratch on it. The only way you could tell it was a refurbished phone instead of brand new is that it came in a plain box. There were no printed instructions with it. But once I plugged the phone in to the electrical outlet, the phone turned on and walked me through the process of setting it up to my AT&T Pre-paid phone plan. It transferred all the apps and data from my old Samsung phone. The hardest part of changing phones was remembering where the SIM card was located in my old phone and figuring out how to open the SIM card opening on the new phone (check you tube for demonstration videos).I love this new phone--it takes great photos (almost as good as my Nikon digital camera). It has a much better sound quality for phone calls than my old phone. The speaker on it is quite loud with good sound. It has a very quick processor. I love the features on it. Because it is loaded mostly with cloud-based Google apps (which is mostly what I used on my old phone anyway), it doesn't eat up space with extra unnecessary apps. So far the battery life lasts all day, unless I have been using it non-stop for camera, music, etc. It paired very nicely with my blue-tooth speaker, car stereo, and blue-tooth headset. A great medium-priced phone!

Undeserved Fear
I was skeptical at first, no afraid, afraid that an unlocked renewed phone would not work on T-Mobile or that it would not work at all (broken). At the least, I figured it would be missing accessories and have wear and tear on it. But I was wrong. The phone was in mint condition. It came in a black box, sealed in a plastic bag and only missing one accessory - the micro-usb to usb-c adapter. The rest was there. It took my SIM card and worked like a charm. It's a clean phone that is quite sprite with a crisp display and nice sound (for multimedia content.) My only real complaint is the sound for the ringtone and notifications (mind you these are both controlled by the same volume slider.) Not sure why, but it sounds like it uses a different speaker as it is more muffled than the multimedia stuff. The battery is fair, wish it would last longer, but it seems on par with other phones so this is not a complaint.Overall, it works great and was such a better deal than buying the Pixel 3a for more money. Maybe my experience is unique, but with unlocked renewed phones, you can now get the one you want and not be limited by what your provider has on the shelves.

Does not connect to Network
After my phone was stolen I ordered this phone as a replacement in hopes that I'd be able to track my phone and eventually get it back. I wasn't able to track my phone and get it back but the issue that I had with this phone was I never was able to connect it to my Google fi service. I ordered a physical SIM card straight from Google because it was saying that I could not download the ESim. I also wasn't able to use the physical SIM card because the SIM card reader apparently is malfunctioned. So for the first pixel 3 I ordered a replacement directly from Amazon and intended to return the first one. I now have both pixel 3s and neither phone will connect to my Google fi service. Both of them are giving a t144 error and cannot connect to my SIM card basically making them useless. When I contact Google with help with this issue they have no idea how to fix it. I didn't want to have to leave a bad review because logistic-wise this wasn't a bad purchase but the fact that I got two phones with the exact same malfunction shows that something about this seller is questionable. I'm now hoping for a refund because a replacement isn't going to get the job done.

Amazing Camera, Dissapointing Batter life.
I've several flagships in the last 10 years, but this has, by far, been the best phone I've had except for one thing. I head about Pixels from other geeks/nerds and thought they were just drinking the cool-aid. But after having this as my daily driver for the last few months, I can attest that the camera quality (pixel phones in general) is on a league of it's own. AMAZING photos. Even though I miss the ultrawide from my LG, I simply cannot go back to it because the sacrifice on image guality is too great! Hands down best camera on the market. I also love the design; simple and functional. No crazyness like mechanical pop up cameras, hinges, moving parts or ugly notches. My only gripe with this phone is the terrible batterly life. You will need a battery back or chargin cable for this because it will die towards the end of the day. :(The seller did a very good job with packaging and ensuring the phone arrived on time.

It was great! For six months.
I won't mince words, I really enjoyed using this phone - then, the phone just died, and I'm not sure why. The last time I used it and the phone was turned on it stated "plugged in, but can't charge). I turned it off to try to reset it and it has not turned on since. I was hoping to maybe get 2-3 years out of this thing, thankfully I only paid around 300$ at the time of purchase, and I probably got like 50-75$ worth of use out of that thing, so it isn't as bad - I'm still disappointed, if you do buy this phone, maybe you'll win the battery roulette, renewed phones seem to be a bit of a crapshoot in that regard.
