In summary, it works okay for a home disco but you have to play with it to figure it out.You'll learn how to turn it on and off and change colours by trial and error as the instructions are poor and the actual controls on the light unit itself and remote control do not work quite the way it looks like they are supposed to.The left dial controls the frequency of the flashing, but there isn't a steady geometric rise in frequency as you turn the dial. That's fine for a home disco, but not for more scientific use. (I'd wanted to use it to recreate a science lesson demonstration with a strobe, but could not recreate it.) The right dial is just the on/off switch, although that's not immediately clear. The remote control is for colour changes.

I bought this for a flat party to liven the atmosphere and what a beauty! The lights pulsate to your music and light up the room perfectly. However, the light is only perfect for small areas and we could have done with two but rather than do this we decorated the other end of the kitchen with fairy lights. Also, some people complained that the strobe was too intense and and was out of tune to the music but I personally had no problem with it and definitely plan on using it again- but I would make sure you have rooms where people can go to if they want a break from that club vibe. Bring on 2020!

This item should not be sold in the UK.This has a sealed plug and has no fuse. This can then cause a fire or serious injury.This item needs removing and I will be returning mine I have just received.
