very sturdy construction and easy to put together. you manually adjust the height from low to high. I have it on the lowest setting about 3 inches from the ground, the highest is about 6-7 inches about the ground. the base should have 4 rubber feet that fit into it, mine came with 3. since I use on a rug I left two in so it wont move around and left the two front without fee. seems to work for me but that was a 1 star ding. this is a bit more expensive than the plastic ones, however I have used those in the past and they are definitely not as solid as this one. the foot platform is covered with a sort of felt type material which is very comfortable on the feet and seems very well attached to the platform. it picks up a bit of dirt but is easily vacuumed.

I loved being able to rest my feet on this to help correct my posture, however I tend to figet my feet a lot when I'm concentrating and would slide this back and forth in the tilt grooves while working. Unfortunately, in just under a year, this proved too be too much excersize for the little pegs that held the top platform in the supports, and it snapped apart. Very comfortable, but I apparently need to go a different direction to get something that will endure my restless feet.

I like that it's adjustable for the height preference. My only issue is that the horizontal grooves are frustrating because I often sit at my computer without shoes and it's less comfortable. Additionally the dirt and dander my cat brings about ends up in the grooves, which happens, I just would prefer having a surface that's easier to wipe down. If that's not an issue for others, then this is a great foot rest.

I actually bought this for my wife who has a sit stand desk from Costco. The desk has a metal bar that runs from one side of the desk to the other and is close to the floor when the desk is at its lowest position. This means that i couldn't just get any foot rest because it would either have to go underneath the bar or in front of the bar. The latter option is not ideal because this would mean the chair wouldn't be able to be close enough to the desk. This foot rest is perfect for many reasons, the main one being that it just so happened to fit behind the bar and provide her with a comfortable foot rest position as if the bar were not there. The positioning allowed her to scoot her chair all the way in. After positioning it and trying it out she was super happy. It feels sturdy enough and doesn't move. Even if there were some slippage issues or sturdiness issues down the road, im sure it would be an easy fix... one that i absolutely would not mind doing given that the design of the foot rest is, again, perfect for what we need it for. At first i was thrown off by the reviews but i noticed that the pictures/ videos shown in some of the reviews are not of this actual product so im not sure how they ended up here. Im glad i took a chance!

This is great for the desk at work. However it does separate easily so be carful when moving it.

Super affordable, easy to assemble. Mot the highest quality but great value for the price. I can sit at my desk so much more comfortably now and that's all I wanted

I wish there were more width to this because you almost need 2 of them to sit comfortably. Unless you keep your legs closed all the time, this product is quite small for the price tag. I do find it great as a cat scratching post though!

This foot rest provides some extra support while I work at my desk. There's not much to it: it's made of plastic, it has ridges to "massage" your feet, and it tilts up and down. If you're looking for something to hold your feet up while you work from home, this is a worthwhile option.

Flimsy plastic deck so heed the caution: "not to bear standing weight." Functions well as a foot support at the desk or work station. Practical, light, portable and handy to use for short and elderly people and children as passengers, sitting in SUVs and trucks. It serves it purpose for comfortable seating in vertically challenged people.

I have this foot rest for 6 months.Now it is loose and the plastic stands from bottom of the rack, come out.I have to find them from corners of my table and put them back.Besides, it cannot handle my feet weight as before and changes it's position immediately.

The hollow sound the plastic made didn't give me a speck of confidence. Pushing the unit so it shifts and adjusts the footplate was difficult as the plastic stuck/grinded to itself. After owning this unit for one fully week it finally snapped and broke. It's very cheaply made and barely functioned as a foot rest. Save yourself the money and go to a Grand & Toy or Staples instead.
